This is looking like one of our toughest, if not toughest games remaining. Anything out of it is a bonus The law of averages says they're due a beating then. That is a good shout McDurban. Tis a good shout. It was Lolley who was benched at Reading when similar happened. RE: Brentford - Nottingham Forest - the jock - 28-01-2020 I'm not so sure ribeiro is worth a place further up the pitch myself personally. Brentford seem to think this is the toughest game remaining for them. Well worth a look very good comments including about their approach to FFP. Forest ( and most other EFL clubs) could learn a lot. Refreshing talk about their attitude to sacking the manager: Hard not to be a bit jealous of an attitude like that. I read that they do something similar to recruitment too. They look at chances created rather than goals for attackers for example. Idea being to judge players on their own ability rather than their team mates RE: Brentford - Nottingham Forest - stirred - 28-01-2020 I assumed this would be in the red button on Sky Sports but I just read it won’t be. Is it not on tv at all? RE: Brentford - Nottingham Forest - ThePromisedLand - 28-01-2020 Nope RE: Brentford - Nottingham Forest - McDurban - 28-01-2020 (28-01-2020, 09:51 AM)Paplane Wrote:(28-01-2020, 09:04 AM)Duncan Mckenzie Wrote:(28-01-2020, 07:55 AM)McDurban Wrote: For me Ribeiro will play in front of Chema away from home against the Brentford attack in a 4-1-4-1 formation. Okay, going to have to make changes, Ribeiro to LB and Ameobi into midfield. I don't think there are many people here that would be unhappy to see this sort of mentality rewarded with promotion (although not at our expense).(27-01-2020, 02:44 PM)Salvatore Matrecano Wrote: Just reading on Forza Garibaldi the pre match Q&A with a Brentford fan. Refreshing talk about their attitude to sacking the manager: And a reminder that, as fans we should be patient. We can be as guilty as anyone for calling managers to be sacked after a poor run. How I would love to end a season with the same manager as we started. It must be around ten years since that last happened RE: Brentford - Nottingham Forest - Strawberry Avenger - 28-01-2020 I wouldn't grudge Brentford getting promoted. They've spent the 'time' and stuck to their philosophy. Even when they were in and around the relegation zone earlier in the season they didn't panic. Even when fans moan. They stick to task. I'd be happy seeing Forest go up as Champions and Brentford runners up. SA. RE: Brentford - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 28-01-2020 They're beginning to get a bit arrogant. A bit like Bournenouth were when we went down there and stole a win. Id take that tonight. The starting line up were a promotion standard side...injuries took away Reid, Brit, Fryatt and Lansbury soon after. |
