Short memories here. Our record without him is poor. Play him on Monday and see if he's fit for Milwall. If hes not quite there test him for that.

Always play your best team.

Was just going to say the same.  Best team available every game from here on in. If he picks up a ban (2 games is it?) So be it. Net result is one game missed.

I watched whole Boro Leeds game and thought it was quite even. Boro didn't look like a bottom end side as they played with huge intensity. Ref also let alot go especially in Leeds favour. Gabbidon said on commentary he thought the ref had lost his whistle.

We will need to be at it, with Sow ideally playing too if I was Sabri....which I am not.

Short memories? We just beat Cardiff without him  :D

We're a much better side with Sow, but I just don't think he's conditioned enough to play every week, and that's something we've got to accept.

For me I'd be saving him for the home games where we so desperately need a lift, and happy to have him as a bench option if needed away.

Yates is still very green & clearly a drop in positive influence, but his league record this season is still balanced positively:

P17 W8 D4 L5

I think it's just a case of using him in games which favour us. And for me Boro away does exactly that.

It’s not just bookings, his body needs managing. We had a similar situation with David Vaughan, Julian Bennett, Chris Cohen to name but three.

We should also bear in mind the players well being.

I reckon Sabri will think its more important we play him for an away game than a home game.

Rather have semedo than Yates, just doesnt cut it yet. The lad needs confidence, he was very poor against Cardiff.

RE: Middlesbrough - Nottingham Forest - Fumanchew - 01-03-2020

Looks like Sabri got stuck in, in training today. Maybe the answer to who replaces sow?

RE: Middlesbrough - Nottingham Forest - Jasper Scarrott - 02-03-2020

With the one or two rumours that are flying around I would have no problem seeing the following line up tonight.

Samba.
Cash.
Worrall.
Figuiredo.
Ribeiro.
Watson.
Semedo.
Carvalho.
Lolley.
Grabban.
Ameobi.

Time for Semedo and Carvalho to grab their chance. It's now or never.

If Silva is out?
Then Sow ( if fit ) must play.

Not this again. Aunties have tackle these days as well as uncles.

If Sow is out ( as per other thread ) along with Silva?
Everything crossed that the replacements are Semedo & Carvalho.
