RE: I Follow - wassy04 - 24-07-2021

I don't think they've decided yet by the looks of it.

It does seem a waste to get rid of it, I loved being able to watch every single game. Even if you can attend all the home games, only a small portion of people can attend away games so why not open those up to everyone to be able to watch, seems like free money to me for clubs.

I think there are likely to be very few people that would see the streaming option and choose not to go because of it so this law is clearly outdated. Also, with the current 'pingdemic', I had to isolate for 10 days after going to Wembley for example. It surely makes sense to offer a streaming option this season.

Who is saying that live games are being removed? ... I am just waiting for an announcement....half an hour before the first league game starts. Someone can send them an email I guess...

Sorry I was referring to legally viewing them in the UK. I assume it'll be the same offering outside the UK

RE: I Follow - stirred - 03-08-2021

In case this wasn’t known prior, I just noticed some news on the EFL website re tv and streaming:

STREAMING

In respect of domestic streaming, the EFL will return to the position as was prior to the pandemic when the live broadcast or streaming of any match in England, Wales and Northern Ireland is prohibited between the hours of 2:45pm-5:15pm on Saturday afternoons.

EFL Clubs will have the right to live-stream midweek matches on iFollow or Club equivalent service, with Sky Sports also able to stream the same Championship fixtures to subscribers across their Red Button interactive and digital services.

thanks for Stirred, i'm pondering stuff though for now what's the chances of the Bradford cup game being on ppv? Or any ticketing information for the Bradford game, it could sell out just due to the fact it's pretty much the first game for ages or there might only be 3000 there, also interested in knowing if the club are interested in exploring seriously growing the ppv business, i'd actually be interested in watching, even having a ppv season ticket and including watching the Saturday games on the Saturday evening or whenever they can broadcast.
Ideally i'd love to be able to go to the Bradford game, pay on the gate or something easy, but i think you have to have at least a membership or something, possibly other stuff and possibly gets quite complicated, it was alot of standing around in the ticket office for the Reading evening game around a year last Feb.
We could do with a making following Forest easy for the out of town computer illiterate neanderthals like me.

Well apparently the EFL highlights are still on Quest if you can’t see the match live!

RE: I Follow - jurgen rober - 05-08-2021

Well, I still do not know what is happening. The Forest TV site only shows audio monthly passes so I went back to the EFL site where I used to purchase the season long pass for 166E. Towards the end of last season my account with iFollow/EFL was cancelled and transferred to Forest TV. I have checked on my account on the EFL website and the yearly pass is showing again, so I tried to pay for the season long pass. I always pay with credit card for security reasons and my card was still present with my account. On pressing pay, I got this message - CURRENT PAYMENTPROVIDER DOESNT SUPPORT FIXED DATE LICENCES : I haven't a clue what this means and tried all my cards and had the same message with all. So at the moment I have no way of watching the matches!!!!

I know this might sound like a stupid question Jurgen, but have you tried to contact the club or ForestTV about your problem?

RE: I Follow - jurgen rober - 05-08-2021

I had a look at the Forest official site for a means of contacting them - under the contact us was an address with the contact of www.nottinghamforest.co.uk -which is the website. They have now put another notice up for problems with registering accounts and voucher problems with an e-mail address which I have contacted. Still waiting for reply and will put on here what happens.

RE: I Follow - jurgen rober - 06-08-2021

So no reply to my e-mail but notification on official site for buying season long passes - just wait for details now.

appreciate your efforts jurgen, i assume the 'season long passes' is just for overseas fans, unless us here in the uk can ppv for any non sat 3pm game?  i don't suppose there was a box on the website inviting people to pop in there email addresses to get information about getting to see the games, i'm wondering about the Bradford cup game maybe.
