Here we go again. Hop on board The Nottingham Forest managerial merry go round.

Same sh1it, different  season.   Are we honestly expecting a different outcome? Or just hopeful....again.

I still hoped for the 2 weeks and the 3 games in 6 days with Sabri to turn it around.

16 points out of the last 60 available is very concerning, as is sabri's ability to change and do something different. Still the same formation and tactics hoping for better results. His managerial record suggests he is not turning this around, can we afford to be 7 games in with no points? 16 out of a possible 69? I'm not so sure.

Bit unfair that Zico. Most managers would have been gone after Stoke but EM stuck with Sabri to give him a chance to turn things around. Unfortunately he's failed to do that.

It's Chris Houghton for me, he knows how to win promotion.

I'm not sure why people keep saying Sabri is playing the same tactics and not willing to change, as that is basically not true.
It's true that the team has not picked up enough points.

I do feel a bit sorry for him, we the fans have turned from loving him he can do no wrong to SACK SACK SACK, very quickly. (this is a bit of a simplification I know)

However, there is an air of inevitability (maybe because we don't here from the owners) about his departure. Sabri has appeared broken by the end (like most of us fans) and I'm not sure his heart is still in it (wild speculation from me). It appears he feels let down by the players, hence changing so many.
The team on Saturday only had a couple of players from last season (Samba, Grabban, Ameobi, Mighten) but still the same result, so it's only a matter of time before the manager/coach is changed.

So does Gary Megson  :)

I wanted him to stay despite being raw in August. I was excited by the majority of recruitment. But subsequent form and performances demand change. If the form from last 20 carries on we are relegated.

If he is going then i would expect him to go today. If not then the club has decided to see if he can use the international break to gel the players. Fans will not be able to say we didn't give him a chance.

Unfortunately we look to have gambled and come out with the worst scenario. Lamouchi goes in the summer, new guy gets to pick and work with his own players. The next victim will have to pick up the pieces mid season and work with what he has. I wanted stability too but it seems to have backfired.

Chris Wilder has lost 6 on the bounce and not a murmur about the sack. I agree with Zico. Insanity = persistently taking the same actions and expect I g a different outcome. The chances of sacking Sabri and some football genius coming along and getting us promoted are extremely slim. Supporting a manager even through sticky periods when fans are clamouring for change is far more likely to be a successful strategy in the end. Sabri has not become a bad manager overnight. There are so many examples of clubs sticking with a manager and reaping the benefits later. Fat too many to mention. I thought there were signs on Saturday. It was the best performance for a long time and on another day could have won. Let's just be a bit more patient and see if the players turn it around.

The tactics change when Forest go one down and he has to attack more.
The thing is Forest always look threatening when they up the tempo.
Problem is they do not do that from the start.
