Also going forward I would play a team of

Samba
Soh worall McKenna colback
Yates sow
Knockaert kronko lolley
Grabban

Respectfully suggest we need a couple of full backs in there somewhere...

Haha are we just letting this go or??

Why would you drop two regular starters for two players who haven't been playing and would be out of position?! I would suggest they are both 3rd or 4th choice at best for those positions.

Will take narrow defeat as long as I see us battle for 90 mins and not give em an inch of space.

i'd take the dullest, narrowest of wins

what's the point of fighting hard all game for a loss?

if we are gonna lose might as well go experimental, try differant stuff, even be unpredictable , even exciting

the problem could be we are where we are because we set up in the same way every game, often as if we are 2nd best and basically to stop them and break up attacks, the predictability could be a handicap

maybe a game we are odds on to lose is a game we should go out purposefully to actually win?

I get ya PSS I honestly do but it just wont happen. We can try all out attack sure but we havent got the team for it and we get spanked 5-1 again. CH is about saving his job, grinding out results and making sure we stay up.
Long term maybe I would like to see it but would need a total rethink about how we set up as a team, different recruitment and in truth probably a different manager and coaching staff.

Personally I prefer points on the board myself. CH is putting points on the board.

One change for me. Lolley on for Freeman. I think Joe deserves a chance.

Only other possible change I would consider is Grabban for Murray (fitness related).

I think CH's remit for this season is to stay up and finish as high as possible. Then, come the summer, he can bring in his own players, more suited to a more attacking style and hopefully storm the league (similar to what he did at Brighton).

There are a lot of players (11 i think somebody pointed out) out of contract in the summer, plus a few that are out of favour with CH. If we can offload those out of favour too, then it gives CH the opportunity to bring in players that he wants. Lets not forget he is using players signed by Karanka, O'Neill, Lamouchi and not his own choice players.

i'm not really being extremist, just really saying we could go into battle as a normal confident team, a team that is confident that it can win, create more chances and out score another team, even Swansea, away

as bizarre as it sounds, we are the squad with depth and multiple offensive options, apparently, but we put out predominantly blockers so the offensive players predominantly become harriers, not all the time, but even against Wycombe and Coventry, alot of the time, so we look like we are hanging on

Wycombe and particularly Coventry were very, very unfortunate not to get more out of those games

Bournemouth was great set up for getting a point, Barnsley we settled for a point, quite embarrasingly.

Draws get you nowhere, we will see, but lack of belief in the squad to go out and win, hence our predicament

I agree with Jsmed, I think I deserve a place in the starting line, as I mention in my earlier post I have my mojo back. Garner and co will now make passes beyond my marker which is easy peasy for me to get crosses in or even go on to score. I really feel in a better place with the new guys coming in they seem to be able to play to my strengths!

If you draw 46 games you get 46 points which is more or less safety.

RE: Swansea City - Nottingham Forest - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 17-02-2021

Did we we really settle for a draw against Barnsley or is that what some want to believe? I didn't notice CH taking off his attacking players and putting defenders on. We drew because both Grabban and Knockaert missed easy chances to win the game not for any other reason.

RE: Swansea City - Nottingham Forest - Uwantlee - 17-02-2021

Can’t see us winning tonight. They are very very good going forward and we just don’t score enough. We will set up to make it difficult for them but if they score early it could be a long night. I think we would all take a draw right now but I just want to see us be competitive.

RE: Swansea City - Nottingham Forest - ThePromisedLand - 17-02-2021

Take a draw....
