That’s pretty good, better than 7th I believe….

Comparing apples to oranges given Spurs squad that season, they still had Kane.

I don’t think it’s something just to cling to, to be honest. 

His record in his first season speaks for itself. 

I accept he struggled in his second season but the squad was very light defensively and the signings were largely not good enough. 

To be fair, Ange exacerbated the issues by pushing players beyond their limits and he never had a Plan B.

Finishing 5th wasn't exactly a major achievement for Spurs though in that first season? I'm sure they'd have been expected to finish top 7.
