Honestly our version of VAR is so crap compared to the UEFA Europa league, let alone World Cup. They need to take influence from it working better elsewhere

I wonder if there is some solipsism going on with the FA hierarchy as we invented the game and perhaps don't want to admit that other associations could come up with better ideas to help the game?

Totally fed up of VAR.
It is ruining my love and enjoyment of the game.
Can't even celebrate a goal anymore because you know that a VAR check is going to follow to find any reason that they can to rule the goal out.
VAR needs binning it is destroying our beautiful game.

Im fast falling out of love with football, VAR is sucking the life out of the game. Sucking all of the enjoyment out of it. When that was ruled out I just wanted to leave the ground, no because of forest or anything in regards to the quality of performance but because my love of the game is being killed by outside influences.
It has to go. 2 home games running going mad to be totally deflated by disgusting decisions. They got lucky with williams that it ended up being the right call but on the day they guessed. This still image stuff is not clear and obvious if you've got to slow it down to a stop at this point you really are trying to rule out goals.

They are and it is really bloody annoying.
What ever happened to the clear and obvious error rule?
Every time a goal is scored there is a severe examinatiom to find a reason to rule it out.
It's killing the game.

Var is fundamentally flawed in the way it is used and those in charge have really got to ask whether the standard of refereeing has improved as a result of it. I would say that it has got worse because refs are afraid to make decisions on the pitch and would much rather have var step in for controversial decisions so they have an easy way out.
Some technology like goalline technology makes sense but the way var has been rolled out - that it can take five minutes before a decision is reached - it is killing the experience. I'm sure there is a role for it but what that is that doesn't rely on subjective judgments I do not know.
That said VAR was not the reason we played crap yesterday and we should not use it as an excuse for that.
