RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Salvatore Matrecano - 26-11-2020 To be clear we would be up the creek without a paddle without Marinakis, he has invested hugely, has ambitious plans, is upgrading the stadium, is upgrading the academy and is a benefactor to the local community. In short he is a good owner. What people are debating and I would say sensibly on this forum, is the decisions made by the people Marinakis has put in place to run the club. We are questioning the strategy and possibly that they try to implement what has worked in Greece over here. We are questioning that if they continue in this way that they wont succeed in their ambitions for premier league football and there are concerns how sustainable their funding would continue to be. RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Alf - 26-11-2020 Another echoing that post Salv. Top stuff. Again I included him as a "just in case" option. Personally I think he has something to offer, but has to be used correctly ala McGugan. I'd start Sammy, and get on Knockers out if needed. RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - ThePromisedLand - 26-11-2020 I think that if & when the stadium development plans are passed & timescale announced a lot of any criticism ( borne out of natural suspicion ) will die down. RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 26-11-2020 Agreed TPL. RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 26-11-2020 Fair enough SM and I agree with your points. RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - wassy04 - 26-11-2020 Hopefully I'd they are looking at social media to gauge fans opinions, they use the most balanced sources. I'd probably recommend the forum run by a local resident to an adviser. So basically they should be using this forum as a guide. Sabri wasn't sacked until our poll turned against him... I totally endorse your comments Wassy. This forum, whilst there are little disagreements from time to time, is at least a good mature platform to hold debates on. There is some humour on here, but not stupidity. There is banter on here but not nasty. There are various topics always on the go that are relevant (mostly). There is the Predictions League, which is probably the best one in the country and run by two of the best posters on the Forum  I think Sniff, through his associations with all things Greek, should invite Marinakis, Vrentzos and co to join this forum and give us the 100% exclusives for our members and keep the rest of the rabble guessing. They can then quite happily use our polls as an ACCURATE consensus to the feelings of the real, true, sensible, reliable Forest supporters and can go about their business in a proper, professional manner, knowing they are doing right by the real fanbase and not the uneducated, unwashed, underage idiots that frequent Twatter. They will soon realise that there is no need for the Supports Trust thingy that nobody hears anything about because they will get all of their information from here. Honest, Mature, Reliable! RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - ThePromisedLand - 26-11-2020 Whilst I am a regular on Twitter I never venture on to the #nffc streams - full of idiots, opposing fans posing as Trickies & school kids. Total waste of time... RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Sabricadabra - 26-11-2020 Since when did being popular become a measure of success for a CEO? I’d be more worried if all the players liked him. You will always have those not involved who don’t like certain folk. There are problems though when it’s pretty much universal. If you’re leading an organisation, you will have difficult and unpopular decisions to make. However they shouldn’t stop those decisions being done in a dignified way RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Alf Garnett - 27-11-2020 (26-11-2020, 07:46 PM)Reds73 Wrote:(26-11-2020, 02:09 PM)Tricky Wrote: Just been and had a look on Twatter at the Vrentzos out campaign. Really? Doesn't seem to put people off from signing for us.
