RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - pennhillred - 18-02-2022

Pinch of salt, but on Twitter there have been a few reports that a decision will be made at 1pm & if ppostponed the match will be played tomorrow.

RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - Marinakis Red - 18-02-2022

Bournemouth pushing for the game to be played tomorrow. Sky clearly want to keep it scheduled for tonight hence the delay in decision.

RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 18-02-2022

Ridulous that the decioson is being made at this late stage. As we speak there will be thousands of Forest fans travelling down to the game. If it's called off and one of these fans is harmed then someone will be need to be found responsible. No doubt it's Sky who are directly or indirectly calling the shots here.

RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 18-02-2022

I'd love to know what the viewing figures are for sky televised championship games. If we knew we'd be able to assess if the the hardship caused to real supporters in real cars, trains and busses travelling to a game is worth the cost of a few thousand people sitting at home not getting to see a 2nd division football game on a Friday night.

I suspect the number of viewers is well below a hundred thousand.

Couple of people on Twitter saying the fans' coaches have left the City Ground, which would suggest they've been told it's going ahead.

Would feel a bit for horvath if he's got to go to claim a cross in these conditions.

Are you in Plymouth now PR? If so what's the weather up to atm?

Conditions earlier were pretty bad - used to strong winds but that was stronger than your average storm down here. Still gusts of 50mph but a lot calmer. I imagine by kick off conditions in bournemouth will still be similar to what we have now so playable, just not ideal.

Now it sounds like it might be off.

Bournemouth v Forest OFF. #nffc understood to be furious after travelling down last night - pressed for decision by this morning at the latest but postponement only just confirmed. Forest willing to play Sat morning but Bournemouth declined the offer

RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - King Joe - 18-02-2022

probably because they have a few injuries.

RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 18-02-2022

FFS

And what is Bournemouth's excuse for not playing tomorrow?

RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 18-02-2022

FFS this is pathetic by both clubs particularly Bournemouth, Im sure Sky aren’t exactly blameless either. Why wasnt this done last night?
I assume NFFC fans who have travelled will be compensated? No? Thought not.

RE: Bournemouth - Nottingham Forest - TrentEnd - 18-02-2022

Cannot see why this decision was not taken last night or this morning. Disgraceful.

I suspect Bournemouth push hard for it to be off so they could play us with many if their injuries back.
