Evangelos Marinakis is not a patient man, anyone trying to convince themselves that last seasons results & performances don't matter, or that Marinakis will give the manager any special time extensions is trying to fool themselves, especially given the money spent.

The more money you spend, as an owner, the less patience you have, because you can't afford to be patient when you have so much money on the line, & when failure will be very exprensive.

You'll get more patience when nothing's been spent, because in those times you have nothing to lose by being patient.

Last year, during our record goal drought, Marinakis met with Míchel, as a possible replacement, if things didn't pick up, so we know patience is finite.

There is still time to turn things around, & I really hope we do, but make no bones about it the clock is ticking.

I doubt there are many of us here who do not long for the end of the conveyor belt of managerial changes that we have seen in recent years & the constant ripping up of everything & starting again.

I yearn for stability, to not have to write every season off, but instead be able to sit back, relax & concentrate on what all fans would like to concentrate on most, the football on the pitch before us, & supporting the team.

Two changes yesterday were enforced, two more were to give two of his most recent signings game time. I suspect one of those two, if not both, will play at least 40 games this year.

The squad isn’t yet used to playing with each other, isn’t entirely match fit and some are still adjusting to life in another country.

If Aitor goes pre 30 September then Marinakis is no better than Hardy.
