RE: Our Iberians - the jock - 19-10-2019 Is there hatred? Honestly haven't seen any. If anything he's adored. RE: Our Iberians - TheGreenMan - 19-10-2019 He’s definitely adored in the ground and rightly so by fans who actually attend games. One of the best technically players we’ve had in a long time. We saw at Blackburn that as a central combo they were two lightweight. Both are talented but both in the team together at this stage of their career weakens the side rather than strengthens it RE: Our Iberians - Camms - 20-10-2019 (19-10-2019, 05:18 PM)TheGreenMan Wrote:(19-10-2019, 04:50 PM)the jock Wrote: Carvalho is obviously very talented but always feel he could do so much More. He dominated Middleborough in a terrific performance last season but I can remember alot of mediocre performances too. He's not undroppable . Can someone actually post some evidence of that accusation please? I presume that is aimed at me GreenMan. For your information I have been to 4 games this season and so far spent over 2,000 pounds to support my team. By the seasons end I would have spent over 10,000 pounds. Just saying. RE: Our Iberians - the jock - 20-10-2019 Exactly RE: Our Iberians - Frochy1977 - 20-10-2019 ^ This. There is zero evidence. Nobody hates any Forest player. Ridiculous to think otherwise. RE: Our Iberians - Alf - 20-10-2019 I've been very critical of the price we've paid for Carva and the overall contribution he makes in relation to that, but I thrive on the kid and really like him. I just wish we'd have paid a proper price for him (4-5m) and have a quality second striker & winger here with the 7-8m we'd have saved. RE: Our Iberians - Derby My Arse - 21-10-2019 Silva - Carvalho. Silva looking the better of the two at the moment. RE: Our Iberians - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 21-10-2019 Rafa Mir's first full league debut must be one of the worst in history. I was shocked at how bad he was. RE: Our Iberians - Alf - 21-10-2019 (21-10-2019, 07:28 AM)Sniffer Dog Wrote: Rafa Mir's first full league debut must be one of the worst in history. I was shocked at how bad he was. Aye, although he hasn't looked great in previous games either. Our forward line is incredibly thin and has been for well over a year now. Mir looks like he needs at least 3-5 games to get into the swing of things, and we simply can't afford to drop points in 3-5 more games to allow him to do that. We've lost 6pts this year largely from relying on young players not ready for promotion (Wigan with Mir & WBA with Muric). Might seem hypercritical, but we'd be top with 28pts now with those victories, and that's the fine margin between success & being nearly-men again. Every Jan signinng should be ready to hit the ground running. |
