So we are really just scrambling around now. We spunked more than 3 times that on a winger that we’ve never played. Depends if we want to remain a Premier League team or not. If we approached him and he turned us down before Ange its hard to see why he would change his mind now. RE: Next Manager The Runners & Riders - The reds - 19-10-2025 Edu and Syrianos driving the manager search. Dyche favourite and positive meetings have been held according to David Ornstein I can see Dyche being in charge for training tomorrow. Dyche favourite and positive meetings have been held according to David Ornstein How is an expensively assembled squad of technically good players going to feel about being coached by Dyche? And are people going to pay £70 to watch Dycheball? His argument would be that he’s never had the privilege of better quality players, but then isn’t that a risk as well? I fail to believe either of those two will be thinking, Dyche is our man. Just doesn't make sense. RE: Next Manager The Runners & Riders - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 20-10-2025 What is all this hatred for Edu? Is it really deserved? His old club who he left just a few months ago are top of the PL. Is a lot of that not down to him? What has he done wrong exactly? Why are some blaming Edu over Nuno? I really don't get it. RE: Next Manager The Runners & Riders - Forest1970 - 20-10-2025 Paying for Silva's buyout clause would be like a new signing so EM get on to do it and give him the assurances he would want. No point getting someone in just till the summer and cause another upheaval because every manager have their own way to play and players he would want. Any manager would be well happy with our group of players and in theory do wonders with them and not leave £130m worth of talent out of the matchday squad. RE: Next Manager The Runners & Riders - Marinakis Red - 20-10-2025 Lets get fully Dyche this time, this man will be walking feeling 10ft tall today, he will be honoured and delighted to manage our club. A lot can be said for someone who will genuinely care about us from what we have seen in the last 8 weeks. He will get us out of the mess we are in. It might not be pretty but neither is conceding 3 goals a game. RE: Next Manager The Runners & Riders - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 20-10-2025 Paying the compo is not the problem and shouldn't be used as an excuse if we end up with Dyche although I suspect it will be by some. Persuading Silva to join now in mid season is the problem. He needs to come out and say to EM yes I want the job and I want it now. But he hasn't done that (yet). RE: Next Manager The Runners & Riders - Paplane - 20-10-2025 Sniff I dont know what went off with Nuno and Edu but all I know is that our most successful manager for 30 odd years is now the manager of a rival club because Edu had a fall out with him. No one is going to tell me that situation was handled well by Edu. And who is the guy anyway? He may have been a decent player, and be a bit of a legend down in north London for whatever reason but what's he done for us? Overseen Nuno getting sacked, Ange being appointed and now Ange getting sacked. When he came in we were in a champions league spot, now were 18th. He's hardly started off well has he? RE: Next Manager The Runners & Riders - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 20-10-2025 So no blame attached to Nuno then? All Edus fault? |
