RE: Injuries And Suspensions - Fumanchew - 24-04-2022

Is Brennan not good enough centrally? I guess his game is having the ball and attacking the players instead of receiving it in close to the goal and producing something

Brennan does have to improve his back to goal game. Better running onto the ball on the half turn. He will no doubt continue to improve in this area. He is a special talent though and we may well only have him for a few more matches.

Mighten ? Seems to have gone under the radar not been used much could he fit into our fluid front 3 big ask but when he played centrally against chelski a few years back deffinatley had something ?

I don't think that's his game and don't think it should be.

All players have to work on their weaknesses. In fact I’ve seen improvements in exactly this since the turn of the year.

Zinc, Colback and Surridge all looked a bit jaded to put it nicely when they came off last night. Fingers crossed they are all okay.

I think it has to be our biggest worry. Compare our squad to Bournemouth and they have so much depth where as we are a little light and could not afford to lose any of those three for the run in.

Have there been any updates on Lowe - he seems to have fallen off the face of the earth

Looked like they were exhaustion related.

Cooper said he was back in training but not that close to playing. Sounded like maybe playoffs if we were desperate

RE: Injuries And Suspensions - Salvatore Matrecano - 27-04-2022

Colback looked Ok after the game but he is the one Im more worried about, he seemed to go off straight away and not like him to go off knackered. Fingers crossed.
Still desperately hoping Kienan can make a recovery for play offs, a big ask for Surridge on his own. Suspect Grabs is done now.

Have we heard anything from Cooper on the injuries? I'm with you Colback is the least replaceable of the two although we've shown we miss the strength/energy of Zinc when he doesn't play.

The players might be under instructions not to push through it if they suspect an injury. Especially Colback as we dont have another LB.
