Bragging rights are good, but anything can happen on Monday night.
Promotion for me been too long

I want promotion as much as the next fan
BUT
I’ve waited over 20 years I’m sure I can wait another 18 months if that’s what it takes.

It's incredible that we have fans in their late teens who have never ever seen us play in the top flight.

I feel for them.

There are some on here who have seen us win the European Cup twice and others who have only ever seen us play in League 1 and The Championship.

Bizzare.

I remember listening to one of the European Cups on the radio.

The other was Francis nodding it home.

And Shilton bringing the cup home.

SA.

We blew WBA away on their pitch under Davies.

Should have gone up under Davies.

Bottled getting a lb. shorty was it and we were humming along nicely balanced.

SA.

RE: The League Table Come May 2019 - TheGreenMan - 16-02-2019

Davies decided to bottle it for us two seasons running!

That is bizzare, I doubt any other club has a fan base that is so split like that.

Well I’m in the ‘been there, done it, got the T-shirt’ camp.
Doesn’t dilute the desire for PL football though.
But I do feel for those who haven’t experienced the good times & want it more for my son these days.
