Wrong decision letting Hutch go amd keeping Ndoye imo. Should have been the other way around.

The sheer amount of insufferable Tottenham fans on social media screaming “clear handball” is quite staggering.

Still annoyed that there is absolutely no way the evidence available to VAR at the time of the decision was sufficient to overturn it. The social media idiots are relying on a 2D freeze frame (different angles will always show different views) that was compiled long after the game.

Sky Sports seem beside themselves with glee today as they've got new angles which make it look more like a handball.

But these angles weren't available to the VAR during the match so it's irrelevant.

The more I see the incident the more it angers me.

Absolute criminal.

It still doesn't seem convincing enough to me to overturn the original decision. We were done over by that but might have been a bit lucky last week to get a penalty at Liverpool. I think we just about edged the game on Saturday. McAtee had another decent game. The pass to MGW for the disallowed goal was a bit of rare quality in the game. We need to get MGW more involved. The last 30 minutes he came more central and started to become a threat.

I think it helped with Munoz being more attacking, as it freed space up for MGW. I can sense a good relationship forming with MGW and Munoz.

The image I saw yesterday it looked handball, but he also had a boot in the head so penalty

RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - stirred - 07-09-2026

Why is nobody talking about the penalty shout on Williams 20 seconds before the goal? Not on MOTD, not being talked about by the media that I’ve seen. He wins a header and was taken out. It’s a penalty. The conversation should also be asking where was the var review of that.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - JohnG - 07-09-2026

Oh yeh, I recall that. So two penalty shouts for Williams in the same passage of play. Did VAR even check for those?

RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - Paplane - 07-09-2026

On Neco's 'goal', did the VAR check the ball hadn't crossed the line before he as a judged to have handled it?

It doesn't look like it did but I didn't see any close inspection, or analysis of it.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Tottenham - Sausage Roll - 07-09-2026

Yeah they did mention that it was checked whether it'd crossed the line on Sky Sports when they were talking through it.

Saw a stat today that since beating Brighton 7-0 we’ve won 6 out of 27 home league games.

And we’ve had five managers in that period.
