More fantastic business by the new owners and co.

Kapino and Mckay out with good money into the coffers and Luke Steele in on a free.

So nice to be run by proper football men.

Have to say that I’m really impressed with what they’ve done with the Robin Hood suite. Looks great, food was like Toby carvery on steroids and loads of staff for table service. Really professionally done and an enjoyable prelude to the game!

What an extraordinary transfer window.

Marinakis, Vrentzos, Randall and Dowling, I salute you all.

It appears that our new owners know what they're doing.

So in just over 15 months Mr. Marinakis has:
Invested nearly £30million in transfer fees this summer alone.
Overhauled the deadwood.
Employed a great manager.
Employed great backroom staff.
Slashed season card prices & sold over 20,000 season cards.
Given us our Forest back and made us proud again.

RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co. - Strawberry Avenger - 16-08-2018

Looks like Director Johnny Owen is involved in this one...

Initiative. That's what our new owners and leadership have.

You can see it on and off the pitch, all around the City Ground with the 'tidy up' the stadium/ground' has had.

Even the old mascot got the boot and we brought in a legend, Robin Hood with far greater pedigree than that old beaver, Sherwood! Robin Hood? That's what I'm talking about. What a signing!

Interesting choice of words "...great benefit to Forest as they push for promotion"

Yes.  That's clearly the expectation. (£25 million(?) in players...and 21K season tickets sold, sponsor revenue at an all time high. However, the squad itself has only been together a little over two months and it take a while to settle. Hopefully the footballing Gods will smile upon Forest...as they used to once upon a time.)

Well, they can 'push' for it.  It's the strongest squad Forest have had in years.  And the most complete squad they've had in twenty years?

In the Daily Mail today Sean Dyche making some interesting accusations following Burnley's defeat to Olympiakos last night...

''Carnage. Absolute carnage. The tunnel was bursting with bodies, waiting for referee Slavko Vincic to arrive for half-time. The Slovenian could not have known what he was walking in on.

Olympiacos officials, substitutes, management – ‘even the tea lady,’ joked Sean Dyche – were primed to let rip''. They had been refused two debateable penalties and the minute or so of commotion underneath the Karaiskakis Stadium unquestionably changed the complexion of an extraordinary Europa League tie.

It was intimidation of an official, pure and simple. Dozens connected with Olympiacos were barracking Vincic. Burnley went in drawing 1-1. They left Piraeus having lost 3-1 and with Ben Gibson ridiculously sent off.

RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co. - Salvatore Matrecano - 25-08-2018

Did this really happen or is Dyche just moaning again? EM might get waya with this in the greek league but no chance in Europe. There would be a UEFA complaint in immediately and they say it isnt referenced in the official report. In my view that means nothing to see here.
