I haven’t but he is getting some stick from Forest fans on social media for it.

Sometimes you have to say the right things. And sometimes shit just comes out people's mouths without them thinking first.

Id take Ozzy back any time.

I think he said that he is now at a better club. I believe that kicked everything off.

Well he can hardly say his current club is inferior to his last.

"....at a better Club and training with better players"

A cursory glance at the League tables could tell you that

He is having a slight dig and who could blame him after the shit he got from the morons on line when he was with us.

RE: Benny Osborn - Jean_claude_killy - 14-01-2020

Interesting reading some of the remarks above regarding Osborn's departure and Modesto getting the blame for him leaving.

I dont suppose the fact that he had a year remaining on his contract, and he had refused a new one, had any part to play at all in his departure.

He was ready for a move I thought at the time. He never really got the respect for the fans that I feel he deserved.

He always gave 100% and most managers who had him played him most the games. That tells me he was a decent player.

He certainly was ready for a move; apparently his Father was dropping hints for some while before he left; I gather some of the hints were posted in Latin, which is quite bizarre.

He was never fully appreciated here despite the fact that he was messed about positionally, which obviously impacted on his play.

He was also probably paid less than other players, which will have been a factor. It would with me if I were him.

RE: Benny Osborn - Mcforest - 14-01-2020

Wasn't bothered to see him go or stay. Useful player to have in a squad, likeable and worked hard but wasn't good enough to make a position his own. And now if the Sheffield papers are to be believed is available for a perm move away.

RE: Benny Osborn - Widdow - 14-01-2020

I was one happy to see him leave and don't think we've missed him.

I also said I didn't think he would get many minutes for a team in the Premier League (based on what I saw of him in a Forest shirt) and looks like I was right with him struggling to get in the Sheff Utd starting 11 (a team I didn't think would do as well as they are doing in the EPL).

RE: Benny Osborn - TheGreenMan - 14-01-2020

We haven’t missed him in the slightest. The history books is where he belongs.

I don't know about that. Carvalho was a better player when he was playing with Osborn that's for sure.
