Nottingham Forest are a lucky club imo to have someone like Joe Worrall next season. He’s dedicated to his boyhood club and has shown some absolutely superb performances for Rangers. Easily our best centre half these past 2 months imo.

Gerrard agrees, from the Scottish Sun:

Quote:The one man Gerrard was delighted with was scorer Joe Worrall.

Not only did the 22 year net the all-important equaliser, he did well in his defensive duties too.

Gerrard added: “I thought Joe was outstanding, it was a man-of-the-match performance and he will be a captain of whatever team he plays for.

“He is a leader and he stepped up today. It was a good corner from Ryan Kent and Joe got the contact. We need to score more from set-pieces and Joe deserves his man-of-the-match.”

And like that.

Joe is coming home in the Summer.  True Red.  Loyalty to his boyhood club.  We're going to Premier with him as Captain maybe..?

RE: Forest Loan Watch - Alf Garnett - 04-04-2019

Surely Tyler Walker deserves and has earned a chance to show what he can do at Forest next season?

I dunno. After watching Mansfield on the telly a couple of weeks ago it was disappointing to see how poor the standard was down there. And that was two of the top clubs in the division playing.

Hopefully Mansfield can get promoted and he can stay on there and we can see if he's any good a level above.

RE: Forest Loan Watch - the jock - 04-04-2019

he needs to do it in league 1 atleast. there are big steps in levels here.

RE: Forest Loan Watch - Dog and Bear - 04-04-2019

I am sure MON and Keano will want to have a good look at Walker in pre-season and then a decision will be taken that is best for everyone concerned. That is the least young Tyler deserves in my opinion after his heroics this season.

Agreed.

RE: Forest Loan Watch - TheGreenMan - 04-04-2019

Massive gulf between League two and Championship.
Can’t believe people think Walker is any kind of answer to us.
Next step is definitely league one for him.

RE: Forest Loan Watch - ozzyten10 - 04-04-2019

I disagree about Tyler. He played championship and did well at times. He looked particularly good as a right sided striker. He will be a good championship striker at some stage
