Yes and from what I heard the club werent too happy with that RE: Jose Anigo - Username - 06-01-2019 Wonder where he got the news from!? Tails has tweeted today: Hmm. Might - MIGHT - be more to this after all. All should become clear in coming days... and will explain the background to it - and the above tweet - in more detail, if something does happen... RE: Jose Anigo - Mcforest - 06-01-2019 Well the club might not be happy with it originally being leaked but look how that bit of news has pulled pretty much all the fans together and unite the club greater than before. So they should be happy now. Unless they wanted to sack him and now they cant. RE: Jose Anigo - GaribaldiRED - 06-01-2019 You would expect that the main journalist from the local paper would have excellent contacts within the club. That should be in the interest of the club as well so why isn't that the case here? RE: Jose Anigo - the jock - 06-01-2019 Looks like he has no idea what's going on just covering himself for any eventual outcome RE: Jose Anigo - Strawberry Avenger - 06-01-2019 Somebody who can scout players for x and sell for double x is part of where Forest are going, I suspect. For now, previously, Forest have had to sell Academy products to stay afloat. To become more transfer savvy is where they're going next. To do that...they need somebody who can find those players with premium potential and sell those players and 50-100% or more on. Get them coached into better players, help the club and move them on. The days of buying crepe and moving them on for nothing are over. (Ergo the amassing of quality and proven excellence in the backroom team/hierarchy of running the club. We strike a hard bargain and don't sell cheap. See the deals for McKay and the keeper we sold on. These deals help fund transfer windows and the turnover of the club.) And I suspect that is where this latest move is coming from. France. A good source of players who know how to pass and are pretty robust and athletic in football terms. I have a lot of time and respect for how the French team play their football. Qualities I see that would be useful in the Championship or Premiership. To have someone with those kind of links? A positive move. SA. RE: Jose Anigo - GaribaldiRED - 06-01-2019 Agree SA but according to transfermarkt we lost money on McKay. RE: Jose Anigo - Sausage Roll - 06-01-2019 Transfermarkt ain't gospel. Neither is some French website which reckons Anigo has accepted the role with us. But it might be true. RE: Jose Anigo - ThePromisedLand - 07-01-2019 I hear that Jose Anigo will indeed be appointed by #nffc . Not though as a Director of Football, but as Head of Recruitment/Scouting (or something like that). Lets see... ^^ tweet from Greek journo just now... RE: Jose Anigo - PsychoStooge - 07-01-2019 I wonder if he'll be like a 'Head of International Scouting' considering we only hired a British Head of Scouting in the form of Simon Hunt in October. RE: Jose Anigo - the jock - 07-01-2019 Embarrassing for the Nottingham post but they will back track as usual RE: Jose Anigo - Kranky - 07-01-2019 Oh dear. A certain someone at the nep has egg on face.. bit embarrassing |
