Some good stuff here. Top posts from Sniffer and Psycho. Thank you, it certainly enlightened me.

I have an idea! MON as DOF, Keane as first team coach.

Dourekas and Modesto were at the Old Trafford, where they met with Eric Abidal, now sporting director at Barcelona. Could be just a social meeting, but could also be Forest related.

Messi signing for Forest?

On a serious note they are good friends with Abidal, they were all at Olympiakos together so it was a chance for them all to meet up again. I don't think there is anything else in it. It could of course be Olympiakos related.

For the first time ever if i hadn’t renewed my season tickets already I’m not sure I would have.

This club of ours is and has been for more years than I choose to remember a roller coaster, one day your up the next day down. It gets tiring after years and years of it.

As SA said it’s the hope that kills you.

Will someone somewhere point out to the owner that constantly changing managers who is, in consequence constantly changes squads does not work.

We somehow have to find a manager who we can stick with for more than half a season. Sadly I don’t think MON is that man. I said once I didn’t care how we played as long as we won. I was so so wrong. I’ve found out over the last few games in particular I do care how we play win or lose.

If we continue to be served up this dire unimaginative dross all the goodwill the club has built up this season will evaporate, hard working fans will simply not pay to see it, I’m not sure I would if I didn’t have a ST.

Whatever has gone wrong, and no one really can fathom it out, will not be solved with the current type of football we are seeing. That has got to be down to the manager in part but also to the owner who has tried to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Before every match I think surely we can be as bad as last time, surely the players think they have to up their game, surely the manager can see these tactics aren’t working. Seems like wishful thinking at the moment.

Come on Forest, you sold us the dream, start living up to your own hype!

Spot on Redgirl with your last sentence.

The fans have done their bit with record ticket sales etc.

Now it's time for others to deliver...

RE: What’s Gone Wrong? - the jock - 12-04-2019

Redgirl I understand your frustration and maybe part of it is hinted at in the last sentence which is that we all wanted to believe this season would be different.

I think you are a season ticket holder though? In which case can I ask you why you think what you are watching now is so much worse than it was last season under Karanka when we went 7 games without a goal? Personally I dont think it is and I want to give Martin time to work with and develop his team.

The counter argument is that Martin has an arguably a better squad to work with and the whole not playing Carvalho thing. But he is givng the young players a chance, I dont think Yates or Appiah would ever have got a look in under Karanka.

Anyhow I will go along tomorrow with cheery optimism, I hope you do too!

RE: What’s Gone Wrong? - the jock - 12-04-2019

remember start of the season everybody wanted to sign Nikola Vukcevic from Braga. He went to Levante. Only played 13 times.

we need players who can do it in this league.

im not convinved grabban will be here next season. regardless i think we need to sign 2 decent strikers.

Owners: Evangelos Marinakis and Sokratis Kominakis.

COE: Ioannis Vrentzos.

Director of Football: Kyriakos Dourekas.

Head of Football Operations: Michael Anagnostou.

Now, how many of the above mentioned people have any experience of English Football or Championship Football?
Answer: None.

Moving further down the chain.

Chairman: Nicholas Randall.

Director: Johnny Owen.

No disrespect intended here but neither of them really have any idea about English Football or Championship Football either.

Is it only me who thinks that this is a problem?

In my opinion we badly need some experienced people with a background of English Football in some of those positions that I have mentioned above. Until that happens I am not convinced that this club will get back to where it should be, in the PL.

Nail on head!

I couldn't have put it any better myself.
