Lets just hope that Jonno snr hasn't attended the same dad agent school as Paul Ince who prostituted his lad around half the league in search of the big money. You saw comments earlier that he said Appleton was better than Hughton ( not in anybody’s world) He even said Fornah was better than James Garner ( I mean seriously ! ) RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - ThePromisedLand - 15-04-2021 Doesn’t augur well for the atmosphere & for a smooth return? Well, in the context of Forest having no out and out no.10, Johnno's Dad may have had a point. And it's not like out wingers have been on fire all season either. It was Cafu (out of position), Mr. Hernia or Lolley with his leg condition. Last season, the impression I got was Brennan wasn't ready. Ergo his loan move. With Krov' installed, it's a mute point. He's been transformational in that role. Johnno was best served by being on loan. He's served his apprenticeship well for the Imps with some outstanding play and goals. He'll get his chance this Summer if he's that good. He appears to be ready now for the step up. SA. They've played some good stuff this season. But better than Hughton? Not in this universe. Hughton is an outstanding manager. He's the one Forest fans have been waiting for. And it seems, from Randall's comments, that Forest's hierarchy are right behind him. Fornah. Seems like he's done ok but still got to add more to his game. We'll see when he joins up with Forest's Summer training camp. They'll have to walk the talk. Hughton is no mug. He's given Mighten, Yates, Garner their chances. All young players. If Brennan and Fornah are that good they'll get a chance. It will be up to them. SA. Doesn't seem impossible we may lose him this summer though, due to this situation. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Salvatore Matrecano - 16-04-2021 David had made a number of Twitter outbursts this season many of which I sympathise with but nonetheless he probably shouldn’t have made given his son is contracted to us. His son has benefitted from being at the Imps. He's developed. Brennan was somewhat mute when given a chance in the Forest shirt. Not 'quite' ready. Hopefully Dad and Son will have a point to prove this Summer with him in a Forest shirt. I've seen many of the Johnno imps goals. Impressive. We'll see if he can escape the Forest gypsy curse... SA. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 30-04-2021 Someone who has been on trial turned out for the under 23's the other day, I think he was a forward but I don't know who it was, anyone know? |
