RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Mcforest - 18-06-2021 I would defo support a movement for the silenzi stand. :D :D RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Paplane - 18-06-2021 Definitely not the EM stand. I admire the bloke for shelling out so much but IMO you have to be a real legend to have bricks and mortar dedicated to you, and he's not there yet. How about the COYR Forum Stand :D RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Tricky - 18-06-2021 (18-06-2021, 01:42 PM)Sniffer Dog Wrote:(18-06-2021, 12:06 PM)Paplane Wrote: Definitely not the EM stand. There'd be too much arguing going on in there if it was named that   RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 18-06-2021 By the time we got to the last match of the season the stand would be empty because I would have banned everyone  RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Sausage Roll - 21-06-2021 Some objections from the rowing club still apparently. RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Fumanchew - 21-06-2021 Yeah nothing against the stand etc but maybe an appeal for representatives from the club and the project managers to maybe sit with those who run the boat clubs to get some kind of combined vision? Maybe could be a point in time for EM to donate some money to help develop the buildings or will that be seen as a backhander!? RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - TrickySte - 21-06-2021 One of the Boat Club buildings is coming down as per the plans. I assume we've agreed to compensate/rebuild elsewhere? RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Fumanchew - 21-06-2021 Aye but where hasn’t been determined yet which is in one of the objections that it should be decided before anything starts etc RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 22-06-2021 (21-06-2021, 05:31 PM)Sausage Roll Wrote: Some objections from the rowing club still apparently. Yes because they won't be able to extend if they wanted to. They haven't extended for over 100 years apparently so not sure why they would want to extend now. The words just being awkward come to mind. They dont provide any form of service to anyone interested. They are there for a select few. Like Sniff said, they are just being awkward :@ :@ RE: The 2 Infrastructure Projects - Salvatore Matrecano - 22-06-2021 Yeah but I dont think they are allowed to write f**k ‘em in the minutes of the planning committee Tricky! Saw something from Sport England, we are compensating the rowing club rather than building them a new venue, would have thought we could come to an amicable arrangement. Agree with Sniff, funny how the rowing club hasn’t had more than £5 spent on it in the last 100 years and now all of a sudden they want to expand. |
