Outside of Fulham or Bournemouth there is no quality in this league. They have a superior manager and we have no decent strikers. I'll take a draw while hoping for a win.

That’s about 4/5 times now that a fast break has been on and we’ve stopped and brought play back to the defence
No focal point. Front 3 just keep coming deeper to pick up the ball even when 30 yards from goal.

So we keep on trying one tactical approach and it's not working with the squad we have. So you change the tactics to fit the squad available. Unless you just want to be stubborn. One shot on target isn't good enough against a poor opposition.

I don't see a way anything changes without new signings as there are really gaps in the squad.

I’m struggling to think of a worse set of strikers that we’ve had in the Championship! Why does every shot seem to be high and not along the ground ! Am I the only one who has no confidence in any of our front players when they shoot ?
As much as we probably should have won, infact not probably but should have I wasn’t impressed. Some good passages of play granted and thought we defended quite well all night. But this side is lacking serious quality, creativity and finishing ability

I can’t see where the next win is coming from. Despite how awful this league is I think the playoffs at this point are looking unlikely.

With everything else going on at the club somebody's all woked (its not a spelling mistake) up about the baracking of an opponent.
I typed 14 words to make an observation, I’m not exactly running round screaming slowly taking my clothes off in a heightened state of distress.
I’m possibly the least “woke” person in the world, but booing someone who thought he heard someone racially abusing him and shouted up about it really isn’t exactly what I’d call woke.

I think there's too much hyperbole being written about our recent performances, which seems to have led on to a torches and pitchforks mentality regarding the manager. In the pre-match forum, some people were concerned that Forest were going to play us off the park and 2-0 and 3-0 defeats were being predicted. As it turned out, we were hugely dominant up until the sending off, but even there were the better side over 90 minutes.
On the plus side, for all the pre-match comments about how superior Forest were going to be, they never really looked a threat until Molumby was sent off and, with Fulham and Bournemouth yet to play this weekend, they are the only 2 sides in the division to have conceded fewer goals than us.
Abysmal. Don’t think we ever looked close to winning that game. Just another abysmal performance to add to the growing list.
Fair play to them for the last 20 minutes or so as thought we defended excellently. Utter brain dead decision from Molumby however.
As for that Hugill chance - I have no words.

I agree with Mylo we should stop looking back on the disappointment of our last game/few games and look ahead.
I think a lot of the criticism of recent performances, result, stats and mistakes will be taking it's toll on the players maybe more so some of the younger ones who won't have been involved in a relegation scrap, certainly one from the championship and we've really only got 4 max five senior players that have either been in a relegation battle from the championship or that are in their late 20' to early 30's Beevers, JCH, Thommo, Norbert and Cornell.
We've got to try and support the lads no matter how hard it is or how disappointed we are with the performance and result!
And no I'm not saying fans at games have not been supporting them before anyone jumps on me, but am saying the criticism about result and that else where will not be helping, the players. So fans and team/club all got to try and come together.
Fergie should try and take a leaf out of Sir Alex's book and give it the "us against the world" type thing that he used to do at man utd when things were not going well.

We are pretty Sh#t can't see a goal or performance coming from anywhere so a another heavy loss on the cards 3 or 4 nil, we will have lots of possession, mostly backwards and shots from all over the shop, but very few on target. Same old same old , trust the process
Well it's kinda hard to think otherwise, looking at our lack of goals scored plus the amount we've conceded and our position in the table with the gap between us and the team above us now at 4 points and while not a big gap at the minute if it gets much bigger I don't see how we are going to close it.
Off course in most leagues if you put a run together of wins you can move up the table fairly quick, I don't see that happening at the minute, but hope I am wrong.
As for your "and it's not even December" comment talk about glass half full or putting a positive slant on it and using the info/stat of sorts in any way you want, it's December tomorrow! it's not like it's 3, 4 or 5 weeks away.
We've got over half a season to play but given our position in the league right now we'd have been better strengthening more last summer rather than waiting till January because it could be too late then. IF we'd signed another striker, midfielder and keeper last summer we quite possibly wouldn't be so low in the table, we certainly needed a senior striker with JCH issues so far (fitness/ban)
we really needed to build on the momentum from last season at the start of this season, as I'd imagine because the way it's gone so far there are a few players struggling with confidence and belief in the squad right now. It can be a hard and tough winter when at the bottom of the table not winning games, I'd bet.
Anyway November been a f*****g write off so lets hope December is kinder/better to us, hopefully some of or all of our opponents feeling charitable and giving posh some gifts.
The season is far from over - there’s enough in the squad to achieve 4th from bottom…starts this Saturday…

I'm sure these players have more in them at this level than we've seen, never world beaters but we should have 10 more points than we've got.

We don’t have a settled starting line up; we are trying all sorts of options with players, formations to try and find a win. After 5 months we are still searching.
I think we're due to give away another daft penalty, so Sod's Law suggests this will be in the first 15 minutes. Our only hope of scoring is to be awarded one at the other end or a lucky Forest own goal from a mis-hit corner. Other than that there will be a couple of perfect passes across the goal mouth with nobody within ten yards of them, three soft shots/passes straight to their goalkeeper, although none of them from Dembele and a missed shot at an open goal from Thompson. So hopefully 1 - 3.

All season we've been desperate to increase our number of attacking players available because they're all flipping injured you just think we're getting players back available then you lose two or three again.
Some of our players are not reliable.
Anyway I would go 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 as we need to give our full/wing backs more help to stop crosses into our box, as it's impossible (almost) for one player to stop two opposition players by himself.
Also i want our defenders and midfielders to be brave and be prepared to put bodies on the line be determined to keep a clean sheet & IF you do concede be determined & to keep it at ONLY one goal conceded.
First ten minutes be compact, keep your shape IF you get forward get back in position sharpish, IF you do concede for the next 5 or more minutes be compact don't go gung ho chasing an equaliser, just make sure you don't concede again.
The official Forest website suggests that they're expecting their biggest crowd of the season.

Not really a fan of cut and paste Swanny but found his team in the PT quite interesting this week. Three in midfield. Surprised we have not tried it. I mean, it's not like we are winning away or even close.
Failing that put out the team that played Fulham and tell them to go for it like against Fulham.
At the end of the day if the players can't raise their game at Forest with their ground and more importantly, our away following, then they don't deserve the championship.

I’m not defending Fergie but I don’t think pep guardiala could get a tune out of some of these players. Dembs is probably our best player but missed an absolute sitter today (certainly worse than the Randall miss last week) and then went missing for the rest of the game.
