But is what instead?

I must stress this is only a rumour from a social media conversation, there is no evidence to back this up whatsoever.

I don't believe a word of it myself.

Although last week I couldn't help think it a coincidence that Aurier (a right back) and Lodi (a left back), who might be facing each other during training were both out 'injured' at the same time.  :fishing:

Niakhate must have had a setback, as he was on crutches today at the game.
Wonder if it’s a recurrence of his hamstring or a new injury

I think we can forget about him until after the World Cup break.

When he was trying to stamp out his discomfort on the pitch against West Ham I thought does he need to be doing that?

Wonder if he has had to have surgery if he is on crutches?

No idea, but clearly not weight bearing which to me indicates at least a couple of months.
Let’s hope he can be back for end of December.

Worrall, McKenna and Cook all on 4 yellows.

We are walking a tightrope with those 3 and ideally wouldn’t want 2 of them to be suspended at the same time.

Especially with 2 huge home games on the horizon.

Worrall has more bookings than games played and he never looks happy these days

That is not a bad thing he shouldn't be looking happy sitting on the bench.

Must be a hard thing to get your head around though.

Made the club captain for the first season back in the prem for a generation, then dropped to the bench!
