Me too Sniffer. I have a good feeling about this appointment (puts tin hat on).

Very happy we changed managers. There is a renewed sense of optimism since Lamouchi was appointed.

Where does the comparison come from? Just because they are both French? That is ridiculous.

OK, so they both managed Rennes but so what?

Are we going to compare Brian Clough to Gary Megson just because they are both English and they both managed Forest?

Like I said, Lamouchi is his own man and he should be judged on results at Nottingham Forest and nothing else.

That is a very fair point. I cant believe those two names were even used in the same sentence!

So likely 3 Portuguese signings and I would hazard a guess the majority of any more we bring in will be europeans too.

The thought occurs that there was more to MON and RK leaving than player power and their training methods, I suspect disagreement on transfer policy played a pretty major part. Somehow I think they would have been less on board with the way we seem to be going.

Who’s right? No idea. We have tried the known Championship/ex prem route and it hasnt worked. We’ve tried the european way too but we hope this time that there has been a bit more homework done than watching a youtube video of Dimitriu.

What I am fairly confident of is that wherever we end up finishing we will have enjoyed watching Lamouchi’s football more than we would have if we had stuck with MON and unveiled James Mclean as the star signing.

I think disagreements over transfers was the prime reason for mon's sacking too.

As for who id prefer to see, i want to see the team win. I hated Warburtons tippy tappy lets pass it around in or own half football. I was as boring as hell.

Winning football is what i want to see.

That is exactly why I am happy and will take what comes, I'm going to be entertained that's for sure.

Pereira is gone, now we have Dourekas. Different kettle of fish.

so far the players have said they are being worked very hard and that the manager is working hard to get his point across. sounds all positive.

RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Duncan Mckenzie - 08-07-2019

Excellent stuff, I have a feeling we will be fitter this season than last.

Sonds like Lamouchi is winning the players over from one or two of the snippets that have come out so far.
