Northampton have shown that.

I watched on ifollow with sky sports news in the background, listening out for updates. He just seemed grumpy. It wasn't great football and he seemed to have turned his nose up at it. I put no value in what he said.

That is just a stupid comment. Of course Forest have a chance. We might not be favorite to win it but we are very difficult to play against and we are one of the best in the division to convert chances plus we generally play better against the better teams. Personally I don't believe we will get promoted this time around but hopefully we will give it a right go.

I did the same.

I quite like that people write us off to be honest.

Agree. Less pressure.

Thats exactly what I was going to say. Let them write us off! If we do go up, its two fingers up to all of them and if we don't, then we weren't ready to go up anyway!

We are Nottingham Forest, when do we ever do what is expected of us?  :D

RE: Preston - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 11-07-2020

It might not have been pretty but Lamouchi shows tactical nous, rested key players and went for a point (and denying them a point) against the type of side we have struggled against this season. I reckon that is very well done. And mention for Jenkinson who I admit I had written off as a disaster who did well for the most part and lasted 90.

RE: Preston - Nottingham Forest - Tricky - 11-07-2020

I agree with your comments about Jenkinson SM! For the first 10-15 minutes he seemed nervous and unsure of himself, but soon settled down and played a very good game. He needs to be aware of what is happening behind him though, as he did seem to ball watch from time to time. I like how he cut inside on a couple of occasions and looked lost  :D  All in all a good performance from him today and let nobody down.

Da Costa is improving with each game and again showed some silky nice touches.

We did seem to pick up after Silva replaced Sow, which is a bit unexpected, but we did attack more.

Samba, although didn't have much to do, did seem more like his old self today. Confident and capable.

Dawson, as solid and dependable as ever in the air and hardly put a foot wrong. Worrall, a good solid performance again from our homegrown Tricky Tree.

Watson was superb yet again! Nobody really had a bad game today and all played their part!

All in all, a very good game of football from two decent sides. A point was a fair result IMO

Music to my ears.
What does he know about the Championship? How many games has he seen - you’ll be able to count them on one hand.
Stick his thoughts on the dressing room wall.

Le tissier ?
Sorry mate you probably no diddly squat about the championship.
Too busy glorifying the premier league week in and week out.

RE: Preston - Nottingham Forest - Plymouth red - 11-07-2020

The most critical thing about this game and next game is we avoid defeat. Opposition sides are running out of games to catch up and if we can deny them that chance then all good.

If swans fail to win then the gap will remain five and hopefully Leeds can do us a favour. If the gap is still five or six after the next game then we can start to relax and hopefully rest a few in those last two games. We aren't finishing above 5th so we are most likely going to be playing Fulham or Brentford (possibly WBA). Whoever it is, we will be underdogs (a position that has suited us all season.
