I saw the Tsimikas comment earlier in the thread. Is there anything in that or is it wishful thinking based on his previous Olympiakos connections?

To me it's absolutely logical that if he is going out on loan (I believe he is) then we would ask the question given that he was an Olympiakos player and a very good one too. That's as much as I have said and can say right now.

Yeah but Sniff if you're this Tsimikas geezer and you'd just made a fanstastic move to european chmapions liverpool from Olympiakos would you be wanting to drop down into the 2nd division? I wouldn't.

If he wants to play week in week out why not? Giannoulis who often keeps Tsimikas out of the Greek national team was playing at Norwich this season in The Championship. Surely it's no different to any other player from Liverpool going to play in The Championship on loan which some do every season.
I am not saying it's happening but there is a chance. By the way he is in Greece now.

Seems reasonable to me. Lots of player's from the so called big 6 in the PL go on loan to Championship clubs.

I read in the Athletic that they expected him to stay and that he would get more chances this season as Robertson would be rested more.

23 yrs old, 6ft 3, reminds me a lot of Kevin Campbell.
Strong as an ox and quick.
He would score a few in Champ IMO.

Yeh, I quite like the look of Davis. His record is terrible (although not many starts) but he's a proper handful. Think we'd still need to bring in a 'finisher' alongisde him though.
Would also take a look at Simms from Everton (who was at Blackpool on loan), a big lad but quick and a good finish.
