EM is nothing more than a businessman, he's not a "fan" he is a businessman, a businessman that has made countless mistakes and continues to do so, you cannot lay the mistakes he has made as the owner of this club at the feet of "us fan's"
I'm sorry sniff this isn't a personal pop at you and I know people are angry, but we all want the same thing and that is for our club to be successful on the pitch and since EM has been the owner we sadly aren't, I would say that this is the first time that I have been so angry with a manager of our club and want the owner/businessman to sack him.
After watching that shite display last night a few of "us fans" are of the same thinking that EM is deliberately not giving CH the tools (splashing out the cash)
on the players that CH wants, has he seen enough himself, is he thinking about binning CH or he has had enough of handing out the pennies, let's face facts CH is not going to bring us success, and everyone can see that the club is not prepared to spend any money in this transfer window.
So if the club is not prepared to spend then why is the owner/businessman not doing what we all know should happen and get rid off Hughton.

Uwantlee - your case doesn't add up and you make no sense to me at all. none, zero, zilch.
You don't look at the bigger picture at all.
You just look at the league table as it presently stands today and nothing else.
That is only a fraction of the big picture and that league table that you base your whole case on can change very very quickly.
Madforit - Bury had fans too you know and look what happened to them so you shouldn't say things like 'If it wasn't for us fans there wouldn't be a club for "us fans" to follow and support'. Try telling that to Bury fans.

I think a more realistic comparison is our dear neighbours down the a52. They've been for sale now for 2 years and every dodgy character and chancer in the world has been sniffing around them. No thanks, I'll stick with EM. Can you imagine if we were bought by that Alonso bloke who wanted the sheep? We'd be looking at another 10 years of turmoil.

Thing is tho sniff I'm not looking at the current t league table. Last season we were fighting relegation.
4 years after taking over the team is in not better position.
Em has made mistakes... fine we all do. He has demonstrated that he is willing to try a different method to succeed.
The fact that it doesn't make sense to you that I will only credit the owner once we achieve what he has stated the goal is is confusing in itself.
.I'm not having a go at you or the owner here. It's just that we are not seeing results on the pitch and when a is sadi and done this is all that matters.
Fighting relegation to fighting relegation over 4 years isn't good enough and EM will tell you the same
I believe EM will get it right and I appreciate the owner and what they do but to heap praise on them right now in the situation we are in would be just wrong in my opinion.

Some people could do with watching the documentary on EFL owners and money laundering the amount of corruption is staggering. We dont want figures like Samulson anywhere near us. At least we know who Marinakis is, we know how he got his wealth through a legitimate business and already runs a highly successful football club.
I have many frustrations about how the last 4 years have gone on the pitch and I think we have made some ludicrous mistakes. But off the pitch we are miles better and some of that work is under the radar and unappreciated, community work etc. At least we are working towards becoming a sustainable business which we havent done in 150 years.
EM isnt perfect but be very careful what you wish for.

I actually feel for Marinakis a bit. I bet when he bought the club, he thought by spending what he has spent, we would be challenging for Europe by now. Instead we are once again trying to stay out of League 1 again.
I'm a bit sick of talking about the whys and wherefores of why ( though this thread has been entertaining this morning) but to spend this much Cash and be this unsuccessful takes a certain amount of skill in its own right!
Clearly we are in a better position off the pitch since Marinakis came in as we actually pay our bills, staff get paid and there have not been redundancies for ages-despite the worst pandemic for eons.
On the pitch? Not so much. If we fail to sign at the very least 3 genuine 1st team players that improve us then we are f@cked. To have not signed a single permanent outfield player in a year having released so many is plain stupid.
That said I do believe we will sign players and not the usual "got promoted with another club then not wanted" merchants we have filled our wage bill with. (OK OK Zinkernagel is one of these and looks good so far).
If no one comes in by Saturday it's going to be a long afternoon. As Cloughie would say, just give me a clean sheet......

Unfortunately Zic, EM entrusted the wrong people and they tore up Warbs' footballing foundation which was getting us out of the mess which we're now back in, to chase a pipe dream sold by magic bean sellers like Mendez, and which was never gonna be a reality.
Both he and his top brass created this mess with their impatient desire to bully our way out this division, with no real thought or care given how to actually do to any of that.
I don't hold it against him, but the one thing which I got told by several folk who were connected or interacted with the club was that "the Greeks don't really listen, and will do things their way" They have, and here we are. So they take the blame.
It feels like they've tried to pant a bed full of cacti in an English meadow without assessing anything about the lay of the land in any way first.
But the change in Vrentroz's role shows that at least they're learning. All will easily be forgiven if they can get their act together now.

At lot of revisionist history going on with Warburton. My recollection was that his football was a dull as dishwater. Much worse than CH's output. Impotent passing among that back 4 while the opposition sat there and watched them. He ruined Jordan Smith's career by insisting he played it out from the back. But as it was passing football for some reason it was considered to be good. It wasnt.

It must be about 2 years ago to the day that we won at Stoke and went top of the league.
If only we could have held onto a point at Barnsley right at the end of the season, who knows what might have been.
