It'll be Nigel Clough :D

Funny. No way EM is appointing a coach from the lower leagues.

Dont want Clough, or any other manager I admire from now on. Im happy with just these disposable foreign coaches who come over, do a year and then disappear.

RE: Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager - Duncan Mckenzie - 06-08-2019

We already have a manager and I think he is a good manager.

I'd much rather him make the mistakes now and react to them at the early stages than give us false hope towards the business end. Let's see how he is doing after 10 games before judging, surely that will give a fair account.

I agree, mistakes are best made now rather than later. But the whole ethos of the club is promotion or nothing. So every 3 points dropped while he finds his feet are costly.

I see nothing in the way Sabri has approached things to disagree with so-far. He seems to want to play in a certain way which is pleasing on the eye, yet not the turgid pass-it-around-at-the-back Warburton football. I think he's done great to come in at the late stage he did and hit the ground running. I admired the way he cancelled some of the pre-season games so he could work with the squad, it showed a certain strength of character IMO.

And I don't hold him accountable for the transfer shambles, that's clearly not in his remit, but he'll be the one that pays with his job.

Not the British lower leagues that's for sure.

Not confident we won't land a Greek or French D2 man at this rate lol

Lets give Lamouchi time to stamp his authority on the squad and see what he can do. He has identified where we need to be strengthend. He cannot be held responsible for the quality or the number of incoming players. That mainly falls on the shoulders of Modesto and Dourekas although Lamouchi is part of the recruitement team of course.

It's far too early for any fans to be thinking of a new manager. But lots are fearful as owner has a reputation.

Is 4 months too early?

Yes. Well it is for me, but I doubt I would have sacked any of the last 5/6/maybe more managers! Don't think any have had enough time recently.

I hope we are not discussing replacing the manager after 1 competitive game?

I really don't want this forum to become a laughing stock.

The last manager got 5 months. We can only comment on what's put in front of us Sniff.  :P
