I wonder if this is the first time we've ever had two Brazilians play for Forest.

Scarpa Ball.......not a bad back heel from Surridge as well....

RE: Southampton - Nottingham Forest - Joe Baker Legend - 04-01-2023

Scarpa reminds me so much of Peter Cormack

Colback made a huge difference to the game when he came on. Thought he was excellent.

Saints had no shots on goal.

Their fans turned on Jones. Karma for the bank holiday Friday over celebration that scuppered our autos hopes last season.

Looks like it’s going to be them, Bournemouth and one other….

Scarpa looks good.

I dont think Lingard is going to get much game time now.............

RE: Southampton - Nottingham Forest - ac_vodka - 05-01-2023

too early to tell but looked comfortable on the ball and a couple of top draw passes suggests he`ll certainly be pushing to start.

Can anyone shed any light on the freuler post match reaction to Coops hug? I know they were together afterwards and chatting but seemed a real bizarre thing for RF to do…..

For those who haven’t seen it it was on the Sky Sports reporter’s post match reaction report last night

Reading too much into it- probably a bit of aggression that spilled over and more of a have it! Type reaction.

It was nothing. Henderson caught Freuler accidentally while Freuler was hugging with Cooper and Freuler just reacted naturally not realising what had happened.

I think we will need all out main 5 attackers tbh- plus Surridge- even if they are all fit -which is not likely for a month, plus Scarpa can play anywhere across midfield and judging by his work rate for 20 mins could also fill Mangalas role  especially at home.

Could all change if we bring in a top draw striker/ attacker too.

The form Lingard was in before ManU game he'd be getting plenty of game time to be fair.
