RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - King Joe - 11-10-2018 under 23's game on monday is at the City Ground with a 2 o'clock kick off, we are playing birmingham city. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Joe Baker Legend - 15-10-2018 Here is today's team: Forest team to face Birmingham City: Erlandsson, Richardson, Preston, Coveney ©, Ahmedhodzic, Stewart, En-Neyah, Yates, Gomis, Megaritis, Ariyibi. Subs: Wright, Taylor, Lawrence-Gabriel, Sodeinde, Fornah. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - ThePromisedLand - 15-10-2018 Not the most inspiring U23’s performance. Only a 1-0 defeat ( and a soft goal emanating from a misplaced bad pass at that ) but in reality our goal lived a charmed life on more than one occasion. The supposedly more experienced players - Yates & Ariyibi - both disappointed. On today’s showing Yates is somewhat off breaking into the first team & I can’t see a future for Ariyibi at the club. *I accept that we should not base opinions on just one game* RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Reds73 - 15-10-2018 Aryibi will never be good enough. Currently League 2 level. Yates - will be a champ level player in 12-18 months but not sure he is good enough for what we are aspiring to. Arvin Appiah is the player who will make the breakthrough. We are talking about an elite level talent here, somebody barring serious injury will be a Prem League player in next 3 yrs RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Username - 15-10-2018 Apparently Brennan Johnson has scored two crackers for Wales but I can’t find a video for them anywhere. They can't get a game of football at any level it seems. Yacob and Tachtsidis not even featuring for the under 23's to get some game time and a chance to impress... RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - King Joe - 16-10-2018 A poor performance from the under 23's yesterday with the midfield being over run by brum, yates had a poor game looked rusty but has hardly played this season so not surprising really, thought Erlandsson should have cleared the back pass for there goal but overall he had a good game, but on the day brum were to phsyical for us with a few naughty tackles. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Reds73 - 16-10-2018 (16-10-2018, 11:55 AM)EPaplane Wrote:Can you expand on that, as I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere and frankly it's nonsense.(16-10-2018, 11:14 AM)Sniffer Dog Wrote:(16-10-2018, 08:46 AM)Frochy1977 Wrote:(15-10-2018, 01:18 PM)Joe Baker Legend Wrote: Paul Taylor Also AK doesn't play established, experienced players in u23's as quite frankly it is not as intense as first team training will be. Under 23 football is a different game to championship football. RE: Nottingham Forest Academy And Under 23's Thread - Sausage Roll - 16-10-2018 There's absolutely no way we'd have been allowed to sign players then not permitted to play them. What nonsense. What nonsense. Exactly ! Absolutely ridiculous suggestion. Both Yacob and Tach are registered as nffc players with the authorities and will play whenever AK sees it fit to play them. |
