Pair him together with Dawson and I think we will see a different Joe Worrall to what we saw last season.

By the way, sorry to exclude Danny Fox who I rate at center back highly but I am trying to highlight the benefits of Worrall playing alongside Dawson.

True.  Dawson and Worrall was what I thought was going to happen and wanted pre-season.  Shame.

I wanted the 'Des' and 'Dawson' combo of yester year if you know what I mean...

If Heff is out for a while I cant see any point in us getting someone else in temporarily. Get Wozza back.

Oh, and he's Forest through and through - he'd probably jump at the chance of coming back early.

*Smiles.  Dawson alongside, Jacob and Colback in front.  Make a big difference.  ...oh, and a keeper who can claim a ball behind him too.

Yes.

I'd love him to come back as the CH we know he is.  He was a bit war torn last season under the 'dark forces' of the previous squad (where he shone at times...but near the end...Mancienne...whatever he had...was catching.)

I'd like him back in the Summer ready to go for 'You REDS!'

We must remember.  He's in the England youth set up for a reason.  Gerard took him to Rangers for a reason.  You don't get that unless you have something.  And playing under those non-partisan crowds will teach him very well not to make those 'mistakes' that had slipped into his game.

I would rather Cahill on a six month loan.

I think we all would but I also think we need to keep things in perspective.

Cahill on loan? Zero chance of that happening.

Looking forward to having Joe back with us sooner or later.

Have we established if we have a recall clause this month on worrall? We are pretty short at centre back and with karanka gone a new manager might fancy playing him

RE: Joseph Adrian Worrall - McDurban - 11-01-2019

Would love to see Joe finish the season at the City Ground.

RE: Joseph Adrian Worrall - Paplane - 16-01-2019

Club trying to get Wozza back but looks like they'll have to pay to do so!

Even so, I'd prefer to pay them for Worrall rather than pay to bring another player in on loan, to cover our player out on loan!

Had a lot of respect for AK but thought he made a mistake sending Worrall out.

RE: Joseph Adrian Worrall - the jock - 16-01-2019

heard worrall and brereton hated karanka.

wonder will fox be sold.

Keeping Yates but not Worrall was odd.  Worrall was playing with weaker players around him.  Played a lot of games in a short period of time.

He'd made mistakes but showed promise and passion.  Relying on 3 senior CHs with a history of injuries  for mid week sat schedule was always going to be a gamble.

This letting Worrall out on loan proved an error in hindsight.

I'm guessing Martin wants to evaluate his squad.

Worrall will love to be back here.  He should have been learning alongside Dawson.

Amidst a defensive crisis and push for top 6?  I doubt the logic in that.

I understand why.  In normal circumstances they may have let him go for a fee.

That recent foot injury seems to have taking it out of him a bit.

Fox will be one of many in the squad Martin will evaluate with a recall possible for Worrall.
