Bloody hell. First sign of a wobble and people start questioning the manager. We were sitting in third place last night at one stage. RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - Salvatore Matrecano - 11-12-2019 We didnt play badly at all, this time last year we were looking much worse IMO. What is happening is that teams look at Forest towards the top and have a plan to put men behind the ball, waste time and snatch a goal for one or three points. We just need to be a bit more clever and ruthless so those plans are not effective. That we need to show more of a threat going forward is obvious and we do seem to have very limited options in terms of personnel that can make an impact to change a game. As MoN would say, he needs to 'have a look at it' out of the team. But who can come in? RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - the jock - 11-12-2019 drop lolley but for who? adomahs legs are gone RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - Jon Moss - 11-12-2019 (11-12-2019, 09:06 AM)the jock Wrote: i think its time to cash in on carvalho if an offers on the table. seen enough now to be honest. Last minute last night, we had a free kick in a dangerous position and Carvalho put it straight into the keepers arms. I was pulling my hair out. Infuriating. RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - Madforit - 11-12-2019 May be it's time for Johnson to show us what he's got? My point was that the clamour for him to be given an immediate extended contract was premature. But I do hold him largely responsible for last night - or did the players take it into their own hands and change tactics after we scored? RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - Jon Moss - 11-12-2019 Hindsight is a wonderful thing. We have been really good at closing games out this season. RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - Duncan Mckenzie - 11-12-2019 Is it just a coincidence that our wobble started at the time when Watford 'unsettled' Lamouchi. RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - the jock - 11-12-2019 it all started when lamouchi played mir against wigan RE: Nottingham Forest - Middlesbrough - Alf - 11-12-2019 Our bench's attacking options are crap. First 11 promotion challengers, second 11 would be full of players who'd be lucky to make a what should be the third 11. Huge opportunity missed past 3 games, thanks to the suits not buying players we've been needing for 18 months now.
