Its uncanny how it happens. Sabri needs to find space in his fridge for him alongside Grabban. RE: Birmingham City - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 01-02-2020 Nice to see Walker come on and not look out of place. Had a nice little diving header go wide. It was so nice to see 2 strikers on the pitch. We've not seen that for a while. Diakhaby looked like he could be interesting for us. A bit wasteful on the odd occasion but caused problems. Hopefully today was the beginning of him rebuilding his confidence, in which case he could be decent. RE: Birmingham City - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 01-02-2020 Also i thought the condition of the pitch caused us problems today and played to their strengths. It was threadbare and hard, creating a big ball bounce which disrupted our game big time I thought. RE: Birmingham City - Nottingham Forest - Colnago - 01-02-2020 Does anyone know how long Sow will be missing RE: Birmingham City - Nottingham Forest - BadDog - 01-02-2020 (01-02-2020, 07:15 PM)Colnago Wrote: Does anyone know how long Sow will be missingBack for Leeds RE: Birmingham City - Nottingham Forest - Tricky - 01-02-2020 (01-02-2020, 07:11 PM)Paplane Wrote: Also i thought the condition of the pitch caused us problems today and played to their strengths. Our control was very poor at times and we couldnt seem to get the ball down quick enough before our player was challenged RE: Birmingham City - Nottingham Forest - Strawberry Avenger - 01-02-2020 (01-02-2020, 07:00 PM)BadDog Wrote: No Sow = lose. Agreed. SA. RE: Birmingham City - Nottingham Forest - TheGreenMan - 01-02-2020 No cover for Sow. Only our supposed fantastic hierarchy to blame for that. RE: Birmingham City - Nottingham Forest - Alf - 01-02-2020 Can't help but be disappointed in the result, and the fact that each problem position (CM & LM) have been clearly in need of strengthening better for months now. Playoffs only sadly RE: Birmingham City - Nottingham Forest - Tricky - 01-02-2020 At the end of the day, we got beat. We probably shouldn't have, but we did. This is the Championship and, as we all know, nothing is a given, no matter what the team. Leeds lost to Wigan at home! It happens. Let us not forget all of the comments pre-season by many of you lot on here, about being happy if we made it to the play offs or thereabouts. We have come a long long way this season and we should all be proud of the tremendous efforts by our Coach, players, backroom staff and fans. The trouble with us Forest fans is we have waited for so long to get back into the PL. Some of you have never been to a PL match to support the Reds. This is a comment my youngest two kids say to me. So when something good happens, we get too carried away and before we know it, we have won the league, with 16 games to go! We aren't Derby County and we aren't gormless village idiots like a lot of their fans are. We have more sense and class about us. Yes! we should get excited about beating the likes of Brentford and should be feeling confident about beating Birmingham or Leeds, but if we don't, we go again! Our expectations are often our biggest enemy. Don't let your expectations overlook the massive improvements we have seen at our club this season. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.........Amen RE: Birmingham City - Nottingham Forest - audiosmee - 01-02-2020 Think it was the wrong sub today- thought Yates did ok and Watson was off the pace, 4 mins after Yates went off we conceded (not saying that’s why...) Think we miss Sow dynamism as much as anything and it exposes Watson |
