Team News....

Well wasn’t expecting that! Let’s see what Blackett can do at LB! Is there hidden meaning here? Daniel Taylor making noise about Joao not evening making the squad on twitter.

Interesting that both mighten and Johnson preferred on the bench to more experienced players

Hmm not sure what I think really. Could it be we are having two teams for Saturday and midweek games.

Ribeiro, Fred, Sow, Carvalho, Guerrero, Darikwa not even on the bench = strong squad. Plus Silva who is injured.

Strange team that, thought Gabriel showed he was nowhere near ready against Barnsley, his passing was atrocious and he's been picked?

It is important to remember that this is going to be a tougher season on the legs than any previous. We saw how we crumbled in the restart.

Ultimately only because they don't make the squad does not mean they will not be pivotal to the season.

Unless I’m reading it wrong mid week games don’t start till mid October so won’t be that surely?

Considering how important the full backs were to our success last season, having someone so inexperienced is a risk. We shall see. Obviously lamouchi fancies him over Jenkinson at the moment. And maybe darikwa is jot quite ready.

Maybe Ribs is just a victim of poor post lockdown form?

Mendes signings being overlooked. Are they on the way out?
