This is our bad patch.

I am really enjoying Lamouchi's substitutions and the impact that they are having on games.

Also the spirit and togetherness that he has assembled appears to be first class.

Top work from Sabri so far.

That's three goals from substitutes in the last four games, bagging us four extra points.

Yes, Sabri's subs have been spot on and they have great impact, unlike Karanka who's subs very often had the opposite effect.

Love his touchline coaching and encouragement.

Feels like we’ve finally found a coach who has the right blend to make us genuinely competitive.

I really hope so. My optimism is growing with every game that passes. I now have total trust in Lamouchi. I haven't been able to say that about a Forest manager for donkey's years.

Early days but he has made us solid at the back and creative going forward. He's also built strong team spirit and resilience - already this season we've put some really battling performances in when we've not always been at our best. And he can make effective substitutes - already we've seen 3 or 4 goals come from subs in order to get the points. Can't remember last time a manager has had such influence during a game.

It is early days but if he continues to make such positive contributions then I for one will, for once, be quite optimistic that we might just do something this year.

Barnsley will represent a very different challenge to what we've faced so far so we shall see

I was one of the people who was screaming at the firing of O’Neill and the bringing in of Lamouchi. At this point I would like to hold my hands up, apologise to anyone on here I argued with and say that I was utterly wrong. This beloved club of ours is in fine fettle. We’ve known for a little while now that behind the scenes had been sorted. We knew on the playing side that we’d had year on year improvement from the time Marinakos arrived. What we didn’t know was what Lamouchi was capable of. Whilst it’s still early days, that very statement suggest there is even better to come as the squad gel further and several quality signings that will surely materialise come January to bolster our promotion bid.

So long as we can put team likes Barnsley away this coming Saturday, we are in for a good season. If the dream of promotion is achieved, ground improvements realised, we are in a very very good place indeed.

Emulation of Leicester has to be our aim. They’ve done so much to be admired.

And they’ve done so much more for which to be despised!

Spot on. That is exactly how I feel about Sabri.

We've a tough start, but if we can hold our nerve until mid-late Sep I think we'll push on.

Looking back Alf, I reckon we've held our nerve pretty well so the push on could be interesting...

I have noticed that too. Cracking stuff from Sabri so far.
