We'll soon seen if the club feel he is ready to be back up for Lodi because this might see Toffolo head out on loan freeing up a spot RE: Injuries And Suspensions - wassy04 - 18-01-2023 (18-01-2023, 02:59 PM)Sausage Roll Wrote:(18-01-2023, 02:52 PM)wassy04 Wrote:(18-01-2023, 02:46 PM)Sausage Roll Wrote:(18-01-2023, 02:40 PM)Fumanchew Wrote: 5 months! Do we look to loan him out for the second half of the season so he at least gets some game time ready for next year? I'm sure some teams would look at this as an opportunity to get a 13m former Bayern left back who whilst needing fitness would normally be out of their league quality wise (on paper). Obviously no idea what the off field issues Sniff is referring to but all the more reason to send him somewhere to get game time and shop window him if we don't plan on keeping him. RE: Injuries And Suspensions - BadDog - 18-01-2023 Being reported Awoniyi is out for months. RE: Injuries And Suspensions - nffc93 - 18-01-2023 Just couldn't make it up. We're certainly going to stay up the hard way RE: Injuries And Suspensions - Salvatore Matrecano - 18-01-2023 Tails confirming Awoniyi out 7-8 weeks RE: Injuries And Suspensions - Forest1970 - 18-01-2023 Good god. How unlucky are we?? Or should the question be is our training regime putting to much pressure on the players ?? And I mean that in the most respectful way to our coaches. Hope he is not in transition for the ladies team. To be clear I don't judge.... RE: Injuries And Suspensions - wassy04 - 18-01-2023 (18-01-2023, 06:42 PM)Forest1970 Wrote: Good god. This is why we signed all those players in the summer, easy when you can just play your first team but this is what these guys are here for. Steve has been good when players have come in and done well too. Worrall, Boly, Lodi, Lingard are all examples of players not playing, coming in through rotation (or injury), playing well and then keeping their spots. In some cases really pushing on. In some ways a few injuries makes it a bit easier to give fringe players game time and keeping the squad together more. Not sure that applies to keepers though sadly. RE: Injuries And Suspensions - McDurban - 18-01-2023 Such a shame, he'd just played his best game yet and was coming along on leaps and bounds. |
