RE: Your Thoughts On The Next Nottingham Forest Manager - Forest1970 - 19-09-2022

Did he do the same thing at Swansea........not signing and then mutually terminating ?
Has he therefore got history for doing exactly what many think he is doing now........... saying he is not happy and then leaving ?
Based on Swansea he wants exactly what he wants, and if he does not get it 100%, he loses interest and then leaves..............
All because he hasn't signed a new contract yet doesn't mean hes pushing for a termination. One team he perhaps did it to doesn't make a history of him doing it. I crapped my pants when I was 6 months old doesn't mean I've a history of doing it. (Honestly I don't)
All I'm saying is SC will have a reason for what he is doing and nobody knows what it is except him and perhaps his family.

And Sniffer Dog knows but is not letting on, of course............

Thankfully that is not true nor would it be fair on many of the player's that Cooper wanted and signed.

Has been my worry with him showing allegiance to last years players who are clearly not up to PL standard.
Has he been planning to leave for some time now......and is just going through the motions getting "his" players some game time to add to their CV before he walks off and leaves..........
I do think if this continues he will be gone and we will be a hell of a lot better under a new manager.
How the hell do you know hes been planning on leaving for a while ??. Are you his Agent or something ?? You could've put Busby, Paisley, Stein even the great man Cloughie in charge and still had the same problem when you get 22 new players in.
Why the hell are we talking about this for already as hes not even gone yet. It really does surprise me what some supposedly loyal supporters are saying already. Its only been 7 games and only 4 points off mid table.
Calm down duck.
It’s a forum

Michel the Spaniard will return to Olympiakos.
Now confirmed ^^
Laurent Blanc, Benitez and Cambiasso were also in the frame.
Obviously all managers/coaches that EM likes just for future reference
Corberan, failed at Oly, never managed in PL
Laurent Blanc, Ok he managed PSG but is currently working in Qatar which says something
Benitez, he always does Ok but he is old news now
Cambiasso has never managed anyone anywhere
Does anyone seriously think any of the above would be better than Cooper?
Again, be careful what you wish for.
RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 21-09-2022
Cambiasso was talked about as a number 2 to Michel not really anything more.
To be blatantly honest I would take Benitez and Blanc over Cooper.

Did anyone seriously think Cooper would achieve what he did in his first twelve months?

Which would indicate we are on to something special with Cooper surely?
Benitez in a relegation battle fair enough but he has another job now
Blanc over Cooper? Again Blanc has never managed in this country. You have got to be kidding me he would be the man for our situation.
RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 21-09-2022
Why does it matter if he has managed in this country or not?
Benitez hadn't before he went to Liverpool neither had Klopp etc etc there are loads and loads of examples.
Anyway to get the thread back on track EM will decide when and if the time is right.
RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Salvatore Matrecano - 21-09-2022
To get back on track the above choices show why it is imperative that EM and Cooper sort their differences out in my opinion.
RE: Evangelos Marinakis And Co - Sniffer Dog (Admin) - 21-09-2022
SM you conveniently forgot Blancs 2 years in charge of the French national team and winning the French top league with Bordeaux then the French cup and then getting Bordeaux into the CL quarter finals. You only mentioned PSG.

Nope, not in the slightest.
