The locals were up in arms about a 5k increase never mind a 10k one, and as much as we love the place, it’s tired and we’re struggling for room, there’s clearly a need to increase revenue that means we have to look at alternative options.

We need a bigger capacity, 45/50k id say. Can the CG do that, probably not. Very easy for people to say they love the ground, the view from trent bridge, the local pubs etc but the low capacity is holding the club back now.

It has been obvious since winning promotion that club is only going to develop if we get a modern stadium with better facilities and capacity. As much as we love the City Ground nothing lasts forever. Getting a new stadium would probably take another ten years and i guess we would need to stay in premier league during this time.

These new financial rules, spending capped at 70% of revenue...we can't compete. Less matchday revenue, less Asian fans, less sponsorship, no European revenue. And hard to break in from below. Lack of competition kills sport, but that's for another day. Given the ridiculous rules, how do we increase our revenue?
Be hard to convert Asia to support Forest without being in Europe. Need help from the stadium. Would also say we're shooting ourselves in the foot by having loads of fans locked out of attending. And I don't think a 40k stadium is enough, this should be planning for the next generation. Build it, affordable ticket prices, and they will come. Is there a site by the river we can get close by to retain the feeling?
What about the Eastcroft area, just over the river. Literally put Meadow Lane in the shadow of our ground.

New FFP rules are based on revenue.
Build a new stadium with 50K capacity that can be used for functions/business/recreation and generate a lot of non- match day revenue and #NFFC gets stronger.
Either the council say yes quickly, or we move on quickly and build a new City Ground.
Do you support Forest and go to watch Forest play football is the simple question to be asked or anyone saying we cannot move to a new ground.
