Jack Robinson - Sausage Roll - 29-06-2018 Let's give him his own thread. 23 (I think) year old left back, free agent after leaving QPR. Ex-Liverpool before that. Has had injury troubles before but played 28 games last season, so could be over them. RE: Jack Robinson - BadDog - 29-06-2018 One of two potential left back signings with Fabio hopefully. RE: Jack Robinson - Joe Baker Legend - 29-06-2018 My Boss is a QPR Season Ticket holder, I will ask his opinion of him next time I speak to him, maybe later today. He will give an honest opinion, report to follow. RE: Jack Robinson - BadDog - 29-06-2018 looks like he maybe signing today with Soudani looking at what Taylor is tweeting... Well he is in the building RE: Jack Robinson - Joe Baker Legend - 29-06-2018 Just asked my Boss who is the QPR Season Ticket Holder what his opinion is for JR. He replied "Brilliant, would have been their Player of the Season if he hadn`t been injured" RE: Jack Robinson - Strawberry Avenger - 29-06-2018 (29-06-2018, 12:05 PM)BadDog Wrote: One of two potential left back signings with Fabio hopefully. Hopefully. It's a position that seems to plague Forest. To have strength in depth in that position is important for a real swing at promotion. Jack, probably a decent player and step up from some of the LBs Forest have had. And can cover CH? Even better. But to have a top 6 charge depended on someone with a track record of recent injuries? Prudent to have Fabio some in as 1st choice LB (and can't he cover RB as well?) That depth to defence in the back line is important as well as a couple of players who can cover other positions as well. Forest constantly seem to have come undone from fullback positions over the last few season, added to mediocre CHs and it compounds the problem. Can't stop the cross, can't head the ball away etc. Again, Forest are starting from such a relatively low base (several 'almost' relegations...) that going the extra mile and rivet tacking each position with a quality 1st teamer and a quality squad member who can push them for their place is a big job but if Forest want to really swing for the fence this time, it's about time Forest thoroughly overhauled the complete squad of '24.' (The 1st part of that overhaul was in January and the more complete review appears to happening this Summer.) Finally. Karanka is the man to do it. SA. RE: Jack Robinson - the jock - 29-06-2018 he can play centre half also. carragher described him as aggressive RE: Jack Robinson - bostonred - 29-06-2018 Robinson first choice left back with Osborn and fox back up, I'd be happy with that. Can't see point in signing him and Fabio, one or the other for me.
