Think this might be a long night for us unfortunately.

RE: Nottingham Forest - Arsenal - Salvatore Matrecano - 27-01-2024

Play that back 4 on Tuesday and I am very worried about the outcome.

Think Elanga might be back for this one, Nuno dropped a hit last night that he expected one further returnee for the game (after MGW played 2nd half yesterday)

Will be good to have Elanga and Gibbs White back. Gibbs White gave us a more dominant edge in the second half, creating the best 2 chances of the game

We can’t play nuno as he’s club tied. Do we go 5 at the back for some extra cover and play Williams LWB?
If Nigeria get knocked out do we feel aina can come straight in?

Would be a bit of a rush for him, Lose tonight, fly back tomorrow, Rest Monday, play Tuesday, sounds doable but unlikely

RE: Nottingham Forest - Arsenal - Trailer Park Tom - 28-01-2024

28% of Arsenal's goals this season come from set pieces which is the highest in the league. I think it's going to be a tough night all over the pitch where we need a magical CG night to get anything whatsoever.

We need to be smart with where we make tackles and clear the ball unlike West Ham away.

Sangare should be in for Danilo.

I would stick with the back 4 with Toff replacing Tavares.  Midfield needs to be stronger.  Probably drop CHO and let Elanga roam left and right.

Montiel  Omb  Murilo Toff
Mangala
Dom  Sangare Yates
MGW
Wood

Elanga on for the final 30 minutes.

Sangare won’t be back in the UK until Wednesday even if Ivory Coast lose on Monday night

RE: Nottingham Forest - Arsenal - The reds - 29-01-2024

Arsenal without Thomas Partey, and late decisions expected on Declan Rice and Gabriel

RE: Nottingham Forest - Arsenal - Fumanchew - 29-01-2024

Our line up last season at home

Arsenals starting line up against Crystal Palace also only had 5 in it from the day we defeated them.

Does nuno go 343? Joe as a sweeper/mature head in the middle and omobamidele and Murillo bombing on Williams as a LWB? Yates and mangala in the middle?
