This match is one massive danger sign to me, more so than the Brentford and Spurs ones were. Those two kind of played into our hands by having the majority of the ball but Everton won't do that - think they're the only team with lower possession this season than us - though I guess as they're at home there might be more onus on them to attack.
Their tails will be up too as they've just come out of three matches they'd have been expected to lose and got a point from each. On paper this season they'd expect to lose to us too and Dyche will relish that. This match would've been perfect for Yates - he'll be a big loss.
We've got the players to beat them without doubt but I can see this being a horrible, horrible match.

Or he could have been out for the Citeh game. This is a trap match. Hope there is no VAR bollocks and we win ugly. Got nothing against Pickford because ever-gone were fighting for survival and he was looking after himself. He is also a scallywag. Having said that a hat-trick past him would be splendid.

I think this could be a very dull affair as both teams do their best work without the ball and keep a tight defence and central midfield. Can't see much space being available for counterattacks.
Maybe we will go to wing backs again and try to double up out wide when we go forward. Would just be so good to get them beat.

Still baffles me how Young’s handball was deemed not to be a VAR error. It was like they were trying to come up with a reason and it was total nonsense.

Tomorrow will be a big challenge, but so were the Spurs, Brentford and Villa games and we managed to get wins in all of those. I think a win would be an enormous result, but it’s important that we don’t lose.

Will be a tight game for sure. Both teams have 7 clean sheets. I think we may have more of the ball. Be brilliant to sign off the year with a victory at Goodison Park.
