Would You Rather Qualify For The Champions League Or Win The FA Cup? - wassy04 - 16-02-2025

Difficult question, can see both sides, for me the glory of another win at Wembley would top anything.

Ideally we'd get both! (Most likely it's neither but we can dream)

I prefer Champions League.

Champions league purely and simply for the financial gains and growth off the pitch. Unfortunately the sad reality of football in its current state.

I'd be happy with any European competition to be honest especially after fighting relegation the last couple of years.

FA Cup.

Trophies over CL all day

Champions League for me. 100%.

Just qualifying for it puts us on a different level - standing, money, players we can attract.

If we can become a team that qualifies for Europe season after season, the domestic cups will follow.

Ive gone for the FA cup and another day out at Wembley.

I don't want to start signing all big name players it makes you lose your soul.

European football would be mint at the city ground though. Although it hasn't allowed Newcastle and Brighton to progress the way they wanted.

FA Cup for me.

It’s been a long time without a real trophy.

I don’t think we’re ready for the Champions League and I question Nuno’s small squad mentality if we are competing on four fronts.

Win a world famous trophy and still play in the Europa League vs finish 4th and playing Bodo Glimt in the CL qualifying round. Its a no brainer for me.

Have you seen the europa league? Man Utd and Spurs finished 3rd and 4th in the league phase. If we can win the FA Cup and finish top 6 in the Premier League we can win the Europa league. And that gets you a Champions League spot, and you’ve won 2 major trophies in the process.

Yep, now relegation from the CL is not a thing Europa League is a much better competition.

FA Cup for me.

In the years to come, winning the FA Cup will always be there, but qualifying for the CL, although will be there, will soon be forgotten. Besides, winning the FA Cup still gets us into the Europa League.
