You don't get relegated after 10 games. It's been a bad start and not helped by Leeds/Burnley/Sunderland winning games but we're a long way from these being must win already.
I get that and you’re quite right. But the longer us not winning a league game goes on the harder both psychologically and statistically it’s going to be to push up the table.
Plus the longer it goes on the more likely it is we will have to put a run together to get the required number of wins needed. A run we have shown no signs at all of getting since the back end of last season.
I’d realistically like 4 points, a point each remaining unbeaten wouldn’t be a disaster.
But yes if we lose both I don’t think we will leave the bottom 3.

I mean obviously losing to Leeds would be a disaster and would leave us a sizeable gap but there will still be 27 opportunities to close it. I definitely understand why you're getting nervous and would agree at this point we are clearly going to be in this relegation battle, at least in the short term. However, there is so long left I'm at the very least holding on to the fact there is so much time to get more points, whether that looks that realistic is perhaps a different question.
I wonder how many of the bottom half teams would be beating Porto though or drawing with Betis away.

I couldn’t disagree with this more.
In the two seasons under Cooper we were way too relaxed with some of the poor results earlier in those seasons, especially against the teams that ended up being around us.
Need to approach every game with a stronger mindset on its importance otherwise we will get sucked in more as the season progresses.

I was talking about the mindset of the players and the fans, the Club as a whole.
We seem to turn up to these games just thinking we’ll roll some of them over and then shrugging it off as being early in the season (except the Luton draw).
We did stay up both seasons but by god the competition around us was poor.

We did stay up both seasons but by god the competition around us was poor.
The first year under Cooper we relegated three established Prem teams and all three newly promoted sides stayed up, so not su the competition was tough and it was a fantastic achievement. No-one was expecting to roll anyone so not entirely sure what your talking about.
As a fan, if you're taking every defeat as inevitable relegation, you're going to have a pretty miserable experience this season as we're going to lose plenty more games. Doesn't mean we will be relegated though.
If you're suggesting the home fans could help out more against the weaker sides then perhaps that is true. Suspect that attitude will have changed after this start anyway.
