I think 99% of the forum would say they would like Dyche gone at the end of the year. However, there's not really been any viable candidates yet. So I'm going to assume it would either have to be a caretaker lets say Reid/Joyce or some journeyman/mercenary type, like Rafa.
Based on previous appointments we don't go for managers in jobs and tend to target experience.

Like you say there is a very short list who would take on the job in the current situation. Not sure who all these good managers who would get our £400m squad firing are.
Its Dyche or Joyce probably. Crowd would turn on someone like Benitez by half time in his first game.
Dyche probably scrapes us to 38 points. Would Joyce? Its a big risk.
I’ve written off this season which is heartbreaking considering what it should have been. Im afraid my conclusion is to accept the anti football on offer and hope we claw over the line.

Regardless of who the manager is, I'm trying to prepare myself for pain of relegation. It really feels like its trending in that direction right now sadly.
How depressing is it that we'd probably be better off getting knocked out of the EL in the first playoff round.

The unnamed third option is too opaque to really consider seriously, you only have to look at Amorim and Man Utd, in theory he should have been a greater success there, he didn’t want the job when he took it, he wanted it in the Summer but they left him no option and the rest is history.
If someone can champion a credible alternative in the here and now, who can inherit the circumstances precisely as they are then I’m all ears.

I think a good fit for us would be Roger schmidt as head coach. Coaching and teams ethos tick a lot of boxes for me. Been out of management for a bit but still involved with J league. Surely able to tempt him away. Has a good CV working with good clubs and levels.

Great shout. I think marco rose and Eric terzic would be good shouts too. Even motta. Problem is we wont have anyone who has not done it in england before, plenty young good coaches out there. We tried sabri he was decent and wasnt backed properly to go up, needed quality in jan and got da costa. Cooper proved young coaches can do it. We need to stay away from old connections too

I voted Dyche purely on the basis that i don't know enough about potential alternatives. There is no obvious alternative out there at thee moment (IMHO). I am just hoping we can keep above at least 3 other teams - & I think we will.

I voted Dyche. To be honest only because I don’t know who out there would come at this point of the season and if yet another change of manager, approach and style would make matters worse, so sometimes better the devil you know.
