RE: Swansea City - Nottingham Forest - Username - 22-01-2021 I’d play the same team as Wednesday and tell them to right the wrongs otherwise find themselves out of contention for a longer period RE: Swansea City - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 22-01-2021 (22-01-2021, 10:57 AM)Username Wrote: I’d play the same team as Wednesday and tell them to right the wrongs otherwise find themselves out of contention for a longer period Which would be a strategy I'd approve of in normal circumstances but I actually feel the club would benefit most by giving the 2nd string a game. And to be honest, I think there's a lot of players in there who deserve to have a go. Taylor, Mbe Soh, Figs, Lolley, Knockheart all probably think they should be automatic first choice picks. Now he's fit Bacharou it seems has to prove himself in games. Cafu had to a while back and look how he's contributed since. On paper and if firing right, our 2nd string is really strong, but we've been saying we're strong on paper all season so what does that matter. I'm really loooking forward to seeing how we get on. He might get some game time, maybe a half each with Cafu? RE: Swansea City - Nottingham Forest - ThePromisedLand - 22-01-2021 Wonder if both managers may be under pressure to win the game - given the effect of the pandemic on income. Must be worth c.£300k to the winners - inc FA Cup 4th round winners prize money plus 5th round TV monies.
