Bristol are shocking at the minute. Can't see them sticking with Pearson for next season the way things are going.

I hope all those Forest fans who were calling for Pearson (after Sabri) have opened their eyes to the fact that Pearson is not a good choice of manager!

Didn't Bristol appoint their previous sacking and look over Hughton?

Their loss is our gain.

Hughton's Forest will play far better (if pragmatic) football than Pearson.

I don't know why Forest fans want Pearson or the likes of footballing anti-Christ Warnock.

SA.

well it's taken 40 games to achieve a complete performance, QPR are the only team we and Chris have actually put to the sword and finished off, though the back to back wins over Cardiff and QPR is impressive as good a 2 results and contrasting styles and tactics go

Rewind 2 games and we have been relatively mediocre but if Chris gets a tune out of Forest at Bristol, especially a win and being away i'd take any sort of win, 3 wins in this day and age of shortermism could be classed as a strong candidate for the dawn of a new upbeat generally winning era.

Though i was probably the only 1 clamouring for Nigel Pearson so will take the same stance, NP is a better manager than CH type thing, though this time the pack is strongly stacked towards Forest regards confidence and upturnism

What would impress me is if CH could convincingly beat Bristol, it is a possibility though it doesn't by any means make Nigel Pearson a bad manager especially when you look at NP's template, i guess Bristol won't see it through but he has maybe the best 'record' in convincingly ending long unnerving runs of results and comprehensively turning things around, it is a rare and desired quality, this is why i highly rate Nigel Pearson, i think he does smash everything up and properly rebuilds the foundations, proper manager stuff, not really a mid term desperation appointment but a good long term footballing Isambard Brunel Kingdom

Bristol 6 Forest 0

We put Millwall to the sword too and Wycombe.

RE: Bristol City - Nottingham Forest - Paplane - 06-04-2021

Pearson's comments after Bristol's defeat yesterday. We could be on the receiving end of a backlash if he does his job properly this week.

RE: Bristol City - Nottingham Forest - Salvatore Matrecano - 06-04-2021

His Mr Angry routine only works so long though and didnt really work at all at either Derby or Watford.

The way he said he doesn’t care about some players personal circumstances makes me feel he’s a bit too old school of a man manager and that might come back to bite him even more. After only 6 weeks knowing that he’s only there till the end of the season i can see why some players might not care for him or his style.

They should never have got rid of Johnson he was doing a good job there.

Classic case of a nothing club getting above their station.

Now we are safe I wonder if Colback will get a chance to try and impress CH.
