How we got seven (or was it more, I lost count?) bookings in a game where there wasn't one bad foul is beyond me.

I don't think you could argue against them in seriousness though?

Aina, late dived in to stop counter
Yates, took one for team, just cos wasn't bad foul it's a pull to stop counter
Sangare could have had more
Neco, again absolute banker
Domingues, banker taking one for the team. Best yellow he ever had said sky Comms
MGW, dived in, number of others
Can't recall the 7th

Sels for the pen.

Hmm suppose they're always given but is weakest

Thought MGW was the only debatable one really.

Thought Sangare did nothing personally, obviously can't see what he's doing off the ball from the tv. Kept underhitting passes and some of his clearances were pretty ropey. Also, pretty lucky to avoid a red.

Each to their own though!

Definitely all about opinions.
I thought he played very well and got us playing better football than we have for a while.
Starts Saturday for me

I too thought Sangare played well and I have often criticised his performances. For a period of 20 minutes in the first half we were dominating the middle of the pitch with Anderson and Sangare. That is unusual for us. Sangare was composed and the triangle of Sangare, Anderson and Murillo helped us keep hold of the ball better, even when being pressed. We lacked cutting edge without Hudson and Gibbsy was not able to link that decent possession into opportunities.

Late to the party having read the thread I wanted to watch the game back on TV.

Firstly, some really need to take a breath and look at where we are. 61 points with 3 games to go. A huge chance of European football, a 50 50 chance of the f@(king Champions League for Cloughs sake!!

Of course the form is not as good and the lads appear to be feeling the pressure a bit, but not one person on this forum (or anywhere else) would've turned down 61 points as a seasons total if offered last August.

Some of the negative bu11sh1t spouted on a particular YouTube channel that popped up a year or Two back appears to have rubbed off on one or two.

The lads were good first half and dug in superbly to preserve a point 2nd half. Palace are a good side in very good form (ask Villa). I'd have taken a point beforehand.

If Chelsea win their next two (and we hopefully do too or at least get 4 points) then they will be coming to WFCG 3 days before a European  Final, with Champions League qualification in the bag, our fate will be in our own hands against a team with nothing to play for.

What an incredible position we are in. What an incredible season we have had already. Not being a "happy clapper" but the only thing we need now is a massive dose of positivity to help the boys over the line.
