While we have more depth and have replaced Felipe we are banking on improved cohesion and tactical options off the bench for improvement.

Apart from the GK, 1 full back position and a number 9, the reality is the players we have in situ are very difficult to improve on based on a side with our resources.
You ain’t improving on Murillo, Milenkovic, Aina, Danilo, Sangare, CHO, MGW, Elanga as a bottom 10 side

No chance

The 3 positions we can strengthen with starters, I fully expect us to do so in the next 4 weeks

Sounds like we have improved our first 11 at centre half and centre midfield with 3 players in Milenkovic, Anderson and Sangare - who will be like a new signing - and all done early in the window and having taken part in pre-season and ready for the kick-off.

Possibly improved a winger, and very encouraging reports on fullback. And suspected signings at keeper and striker.

I don’t know how anyone doesn’t find this highly encouraging.

Surely that is what we all wanted.

Just a bit of tinkering here and there with no major squad upheaval.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

100% agree.
You would also expect Murillo, MGW, CHO, Danilo, Elanga and Neco to all kick on this season, given their ages and the additional experience they now possess

I've been banging this drum all summer. The age profile of our team suggests even small improvement from those on early/mid 20s and those horrible 2-3s stop happening and a few more wins transpire.  They have all shown their huge talents, but Neco aside, it's about increasing consistency now.

Still a bit nervous about GK situation mind and we all know how important can be.

Sangare won some good turnovers but i still felt his positioning against better opponents was miles off . Yates and Anderson were good when they came on . Definitely need those wide players in sliva and sosa/Gonzalez .
MGW came to life when Tiawo came on we definitely we 100% need a CF who can run in behind we had their defence worried .
Milenkovic is a rolls-Royce and i just hope Murillo’s sloppiness is just pre-season rust . Locko at LB and Ania moveing to RB will improve us defensively and offensively as i think it will give balance to the left Side and Ania’s pace with Elanga down the Right .
