A Bola: #SCP eyeing SC Braga's Vukcevic, who Peseiro likes as a solution on defensive end. Acuna, Bruno Fernandes, Bas Dost arrive today to Alcochete. Team plays Sp. Covilha on Wednesday. Another round of talks this week with Atletico Madrid over Gelson.

Don't think we were ever seriously interested, it seems like the Portuguese press put 2+2 together and came up with 5.

If we were seriously interested then he'd have been over for talks and a bid would have gone in but it never happened.

You are probably right but it would have been so right - the icing on the cake.

A CM who is a dimension above what Forest have.  Would have been the complimentary 'vision' to the Portuguese signings.

That said, the 11 (Byram to come in?) players Forest have or will have before the season kicks off will be transformative.  Should be battling for top 6 rather than bottling(pun intended) to avoid bottom 6.

Still, before he was mentioned, I would have been happy to have had Colback.

Forest's business this transfer window has been very astute and well planned.

Looked really good today -obviously lots more game time required to gel but the potential looked like it would threaten most defenses ( especially when you consider the 4 coming off the bench ) and we never really seem troubled by Bournemouth. Was great to see Micheal Dawson leading the line today and Fox would be unlucky to loose his shirt for the Bristol game. Gueddy looked the best player on the park at times with his passing, interception`s and pace - nothing like what we saw last season. We have competition in midfield but didn`t see enough on Yates to offer any real opinion but you have to think Colback/ Waston probably aren`t starting together currently...... only minor concern was starting with Murphy.

Gueddy & Watson will probably start on Saturday due to fitness.

Gueddy has done well pre-season and was excellent as said today.

Only pre-season but that was an excellent performance throughout. Only downer was Murphy who just looks to slow to play up front in this team.

Dias is as good off the ball as he is on it, Guedi and Fox also outstanding.

That's great to hear. :D  When he arrived his fitness was out of whack.  Looks like a Karanka pre-season has done the trick..?

Fox reborn!  Brilliant that both Geddy and Fox were outstanding.
